Chapter 242: An Unexpected Bath?
Ava suddenly stopped in her tracks.
The reason for her sudden stop was that she had just now locked eyes with Alicia; however, unlike before, she got a sharp look from her in return, which seemed to try to threaten her from sitting right beside him just like her.
She didn't know why all this while when she and Aiden were together earlier, Alicia hadn't shown any open hostility, but now, suddenly out of the blue, she got a threatening look from her. She wasn't that surprised, but it was still a mystery to her why she hadn't intervened earlier, as it would have made it much harder for them to get together, and even today's event would have played out differently.
She didn't get her thinking at all, but whatever the case might be, she was not going to show any weakness when she had already wholeheartedly accepted Aiden as her partner. She would have found her own behavior very dislikable if she backed out right now.
