The idea popped into her head during a dinner at the old house, where she had temporarily agreed to let her third uncle's family strike out on their own, remembering they were a tofu-making family constantly dealing with soybeans.
If her third uncle's family continues handling the soybeans, they surely would be happy to, as they're already familiar with the process. Villagers wouldn't raise any suspicion over them buying beans.
Though this place has tofu, it really doesn't have bean sprouts, nor soybean oil.
Oil here is made by rendering pork fat. Though she knows soybeans can be pressed for oil, she hadn't done it herself. However, she could share the idea with her third uncle's family for them to explore, assuming they'd figure it out since they can make tofu.
