The crest on Lind's chest burned, and he stepped forward. The erupting flames propelled him across the gap between the two sides, bringing down his giant axe in a vertical slash.
"Never heard of that!"
"Boom!"
The invisible wall of air appeared once more, blocking Lind's strike.
"No entry ahead!" The burly man with a beard grinned, "My divine authority... Huh, you're still human."
He seemed greatly surprised that a supreme being, someone who gave Duke Hein such a headache, was still human and hadn't transcended to a higher level.
Lind pulled back his arm, retracting his giant axe while raising his foot to kick forward.
Still blocked by the wall of air.
Not a bit of movement.
