Chapter : 10 : New Persona and Buisness Plans :
Time Skip : 6 Months :
It's been 6 months since Minato's encounter with Leng Luo and Konoha's decision to look for Leng Luo's position and the so called Black knight organisation .
They have searched the town and surrounding places where Leng Luo first seen but to their dismay no evidence of his futhur activities were found nor were there any information about the so called black knight organisation .
And after searching for sometime they had to give up on the search because more important things depended their attention .There has been some major changes in the third great shinobi war.
Sunagakure no Sato had finally officially joined the war against Konohagakure no Sato. So right now Konohagakure no Sato is facing the collective might of all the four major villages in some way or another . Although in this respect only Iwagakure no Sato and Sunagakure no Sato are sending major forces fight whereas the other two were all the not as intensive .
Obviously Konohagakure doesn't have time to search for an hypothetical organisation at this critical junction of War .
But that's not all that had changed during this time.
Location : Land of Waves :
The land of Waves is a nation located on an island near the land of Fire . It's a beautiful land famous for it's mangroves and rivers which hosts a variety of lifeforms in it .
But to most of the fan it's famous for the team Kakashi's fist big mission and the famous fight against Zabuza Momochi and Yuki Haku .
But right now things were different as there was no Gato or his murderous rule .
Inside this simple yet beautiful place we can see a huge mansion surrounded by a beautiful garden .
Inside the mention there is a luxurious room filled with the most comfortable furniture found in the entire nation .
Here we can see a man sitting in the luxurious room reading some documents . He was a tall and handsome young man with looks that can make many girls fall in love with just one smile .
From the looks of it the man was engrossed in his work that he didn't even notice that the window in the room was suddenly opened and masked figure came in from behind .
But suddenly the mysterious man with a fox mask who almost looked like an assassin bowed to the young man sitting in the table and said in a respectful voice .
" Lord Leng Luo I have completed the mission you have assigned to me . " - said the young man wearing the a fox mask while he respectfully handed over a wooden box to the young man in front of him , inturn who turned out to be none other than Leng Luo our dear main protagonist who caused such a commotion in the hearts of Konoha's higher ups .
But what was he doing here ?
As it turns out after causing such a commotion Leng Luo decided to lay low at first but then after getting Yuta as his summon and the money from the system reward he decided to create another persona that can be used to mix with the regular public of the society in the mainstream to get more information , authority and power .
And what better way to do it if not becoming a wealthy merchant .
In order to hide his identity he first took off his armour and mask and changed his name to Yoshida Arata a businessman and founder of Yoshida International company and then used his assets to buy the lands in the land of waves .
And as for why he decided to locate in the land of waves ? it's quite simple . Currently land of waves is very poor only dependent on fishing and farming whereas the shipping industry is rudimentary at best . But fortunately it has survived from the effects of the ongoing shinobi war and not many battles happened here , so it is still isolated making it a prime location for his start .
" Good job Yuta you can now go and rest for a while , I will call you and I need your assistance . " - Leng Luo said .
" Yes ." - Yuta replied and left .
After Yuta left the room Leng Luo now also known as Yoshida Arata looked up from his work and took the box and opened it . Inside it he saw a blue crystal lying in it .
It was the same crystal that he was required to have in order to complete his second special Quest and by far he has found in 3 such crystals .The first one he found accidentally at the townlords house which started the mission itself , the second one he found at the land of wave coincidentally as well when the lord of these land gave it to him for his massive investment as a gift and the third one he found out was with a local banded group so he sent Yuta to retrieve it and also ordered to kill those criminals all together.
" It would seem that I have to wait for other two to complete the mission . " - after seeing the crystal for some time he stored it in his storage inventory .
During this time not only he has formed a buisness company he has also continuously trained hard with Yuta in practical combat honing his skills to a next level advanceing through leaps and bounds , and he also understood how much different it was between training alone and hitting and fighting against a skilled fighter can be .
But while he was doing so he also had to maintain his persona as a successful businessman and he was not going to slack on that either . While he was practicing daily with Yuta he also also you clones to participate in business operations and to overtake the responsibility of the buisness operations . It was a daunting task but it was more than satisfactory right . Right now he held a huge portion of land ( approximately 5% ) of Land of waves including five big areas where ports and can be built .
He had prepared his perfect plan for this business . He had carefully selected 3 items that he would publicly do business in. First of all food crops to be more precise rice production , second would be shipment and ship building and the third will be the fish production .
All these trades are beneficial to him and has a major advantage in the land of waves . First of all food production or rice production to be more precise is the major advantage in land of waves .
Land of waves is actually a very fertile land with plenty of water supply and climate temparature perfect for rice production , secondly during this time of War food shortages are happening everywhere and due to this people are suffering specially the common people of the land. So producing a large amount of rice with the help of modern technology and knowledge that he has from the modern era he could easily get a huge amount of crops and sell them in the market at cheap price . Not only will he be making a huge profit but at the same time he will give a huge amount of rice and other materials as donation to other people in wartorn areas for kindness and charity .
Secondly production of ship and shipment industry is a very good industry having huge potential in this land of waves especially due to is natural geography and it's abundance in required raw materials .
Thirdly the fishing industry is a native industry in this land but due to the lack of technology and innovation in terms of fishing and ship making the fisherman of the local area can't go to far in the deep waters and always fish in particular areas . Due to this the amount of fish caught in these areas have decreased due to over fishing and is becoming a big problem for the already poor local people but with the production of more food and economic innovation in ship building technology the local fisherman go into different places to fish for different food and then trade it with the other nations .
All these things are characterized and organised in a way that it will not only help him earn profit but also the people in this country and the needy ones. Although he may seem like a cold man when he is his Leng Luo persona in truth he is a very kind hearted person . He has no compassion and love for his enemy but at the same time he loves and deeply careers about his people and the common public so if there is no need he will not harm the innocent civilians and will do everything he can to help them only if there is something very important like system mission will he do something against the common people and that too will be with much considerations .
So after getting huge plots of land he brought a simple formula for better fertilizer with 20 % to 30 % better results then the current once available in the market. Although he had the option of buying HYV seeds as well in a very low price the problem was that he needed to farm huge plots of land so even if he buy the lot of HYV seads using all of his system points at a cheap rate it won't be enough to cover all the farm land he had brought . And the price of the formula and technology of creating HIV seed is very high so instead of going big like most of the main characters does he choose a simple formula for a fertilizer and pesticides formulas . Although this were not totally revolutionary but good enough to give 20% to 30% better production than the current once in the market.
So his plan was that right now he will use this fertilizers and pesticides to increase the production of crops and then sell them in the market like any businessman would do earn profit and get more system points .
When he will have enough real money and a lot of system points he will start getting into other business fields giving him the funds and infrastructure that he will need in the future .
But plans are just plans till they are put to work . So in these 6 months of time he had recruited a lot of local people to work in his farms . Whereas he was already working on creating the first big port and shipbuilding facility in these country .
Obviously all of it required a huge amount of money and even the money he got from the system rewards it couldn't be enough to do all this task so he had to find another way of making quick income and that was obviously fighting and killing cough cough forging of evil banded .
So he frequently sent Yuta to different locations to fight several criminal groups which were very common during these war time and some local merchant and nobles who were going to be his opponents assassinated killed and their property and money taken .
One would not believe just how much money and resources these people had collected . Even Leng Luo was shocked to see it for the first time afterall the money he got from the previous townlords house was only a portion of the total amount .
Some of the banded groups consisted of civilian most of whom couldn't find a job and had to turn into criminal life for survival so he didn't target them instead he targeted the most dengerous criminals because these people were the one with most of the money and resources .
The one with the civilian background who were forced to become thief and criminals were nothing more than ordinary people taking up some arms in their hand so even if as robbers they won't be able to get a lot of money however the strong ones were consisted of people who had shinobi or samurai background these people were rogue shinobis who mostly ran away from the current ongoing war from different villages be it big or small .
These people once becoming criminals collected other people like them forming a group of strong people and then started causing chaos . David felt that there was no need to show them mercy at all , not only were they cowards who couldn't fight for their nation but instead they turned on the innocent people and bullying them .
And as for the nobles of the land they were not good either if they were good then our main character wouldn't have found hige of food and other products in their storage in their storage facilities while their subjects outside was starving in hunger . In David's or Leng Luo's eyes killing these people was giving them mercy from the horrible existence they were living .
But in their place after killing them and taking the resources our dear main character was not only using that money and resources to create his own company profitable he was also using the same money and the profit to make the people of the land live a comfortable life by giving them and their predecessors better opportunities .
Now due to his arrival and the start of his business a lot of unemployed men and women from this country of wave have gotten employment and happiness in their life . Many people who once turned criminals now left their path and started coming to find jobs in the in his company .
So just within 6 months not only had he created a profitable company but at the same time you also made himself a good reputation among the people of the country of wavs and the sourounding areas .
And once is business Empire extense to other villages and countries is name will also become popular more and more people will look up to him and this is exactly what he wants a balance between personal gains and social work .
But this also presented a huge dilemma to him . Although right now he is just a small merchant in the small country of waves so during this what time not many people will give him notice especially not the big ones but once he starts expanding his business empire the shinobies from other villages will start to look at him as well . They will become curious and no matter what he tried he will become suspicious person person in their eyes. And not only them but other merchants and competitors will become warry of him so different troubles will follow .
But David was not afraid of that because he had already made counter measures for any incoming problems and is ready to face them head on at any time .
" Well then let's end it for today . " - after finishing his work at the table stood up from his seat and went to his room where he usually slept while in his Yushida Arata persona . So after ordering the maid to leave the area alone and not let anyone in he quickly used his system teleportation power to open a portal to the forest where his hidden base was located .
This place too had seen a drastic change in the past 6 months. Although from above it's still look like what he it was years ago in truth under the ground Leng Luo had constructed a huge facility . This facility was made for three main purposes first to hide and train with his abilities without rising any suspicions or attention , secondly to conduct secret experiments and other things that couldn't be done in public light as his other persona and third simply to renovate the place he first came to .
After he came in front of a cave he pressed his hand on the ground and opened a secret pathway to the underground base .
This area is as big as four football field and is divided into 5 parts . First part being a research laboratory , the second part is the resting area for him and his summons , the third room which is the biggest room in the entire underground base is the training room , the fourth room is a storage room and last room is just a spare area that he has not thought anything about .
Soon , he reached the underground training area where he practiced most of the time unless it's is a wide range technique causing devastating effects .
After reaching the underground base he came in front of a human shaped dummy . This dummy was brought from the system shop and had caused him a fortune but it was all worth it . This dummy was made up some kind of material different from anything he had ever seen before and it was strong enough to take a full blast from a fully powered punch and attack from a top level chunin strength and can even withstand an attack from A rank jutsu. Not only that it also mimics the nervous system and chakra pathways of a human body perfectly . The only down side was that once damaged it cannot be repaired again . But what can be done afterall nothing is perfect in this world .
Now in front of the dummy David who has reverted back to his Leng Luo's persona closed his eyes for a second and re-opened them quickly , but this time there was something different as his eyes when no longer the same .
" Mystic eyes open ! let's get the show started . "
