Sheila stared blankly at the ceiling, her mind was racing with pain. "what the point in any of this, I'm better of dead at this point," Sheila thought to herself, "15 years I've waited, all my efforts gone, the only good thing in my life is dead, might as well just wait and die" she was having suicidal thoughts.
"since you aren't responding I'm going to make my own speculations and see where that takes us", the vampire said as he reached out to grab Sheila by the hair on her head.
Sheila didn't move an inch, she was lost in thought.
He raised her up by the hair, "you're a spy aren't you?" the man said, he flexed his muscles preparing to slam her into the ground again but this time it was her head that would make contact with the cold, hard ground.
"STOP!!" a familiar voice shouted. It was Jake, he had woken up from his slumber when the man accused them of being spies.
Sheila's eyes widened in shock, she could barely recognize the boy in front her, his normal physical appearance had changed quite a bit.
He had a head full of dark purple hair with a strip of red in it, his irises were two different colors; his right eye had a blood red iris just like the vampire's, while his left eye sported a gold-yellow iris that shone with an alluring lustre, his skin was also pale like the vampire's.
"we aren't spies" Jake continued tears streamed "So please stop", Jake was a smart kid, from the cracks in the ground, Sheila messed up hair and the man holding her up in the air, he could tell that if he remained silent his mother was going to end up dead.
"What… are you?" the vampire said, his tone was full of confusion. He had never see any creature like Jake before.
"He's the first known vampire hybrid" Sheila said her voice had a hint of sadness in it, she was clearly not happy with this fact.
"I see ….." the vampire said " This is quite the interesting development" the vampire continued as he burst into a hearty laugh.
Confusion was written all over the faces of both Jake and Sheila. This guy surely
Had a few screws loose in his head, one moment he was trying to kill them, the next moment he was laughing like madman.
"My name is Vladimir Octavia, the third son of Damien Octavia, The duke of Neverfall", the vampire introduced himself.
Vladimir had just dropped a bombshell of information on both Sheila and Jake.
Sheila was shocked for the 4th time today. frankly it was to many shocks for one day.
They were in the presence of one of the highest ranking vampires in Neverfall.
Jake just stared at Vladimir in confusion, the only part of Vladimir's sentence he understood was his name, he didn't understand high society at all.
"i guess I'm going to be needing the names of you peasants since I've decided you're going to be serving me from now on," Vladimir stared at their confused faces "Go on, introduce yourself" Vladimir said.
"I'm Sheila," Sheila said with a bit of hesitation "and that is my son; Jake", she pointed at Jake who was on the other side of the room.
"your son?" Vladimir asked in a doubtful tone, he wasn't convinced of Sheila's words.
"Yes" Sheila responded.
Noticing his doubt she made her body undergo a shocking transformation.
Her hair immediately turned a shade of light red, her eyes changed from their normal brown color to a light gold-yellow, her eyes were similar to Jake's they were only a shade lighter, she also became slightly taller and her ass and boobs grew a size larger boosting her sexual appeal, in this for she looked like a proper succubus capable of sucking a man's soul out of his body. for !5 years she hadn't used this form until now.
"ohh, I see" Vladimir said, he was now convinced she was truly his mother, " you're a succubus aren't you" Vladimir asked.
Sheila replied with a slight nod.
"But you're also part human", Vladimir said, taking a quick pause to ponder something "he doesn't seem to have any human in him" Vladimir continued as he pointed at Jake.
Sheila just gave him a blank stare.
"It seems you don't know either" Vladimir said with a slightly amused smile on his face and a light chuckle, " I have some business to attend to, so I'll be back for you two".
He turn around and with his broad back facing them he said "Do me a favor, don't try running away," he paused, "It won't end well".
After saying his piece he just disappeared from their sight, leaving just as eerily as he appeared.
