It was a long night, but it would have ended sooner with the majority of them dead if not for Yan taking control of the situation with his commands. Thanks to him, the mix of people who had gathered for the Heartcore Diamond managed to hold out under the Boneclaws' assault.
Yan's brain fired on all cylinders as he dealt with each Boneclaw sweeping down by reading their trajectories and having one of the mercenaries or bodyguards intercept it right before impact.
At the same time, there was something nagging at him.
He had considered this outcome when he first heard that trying to lure them out wouldn't go well. Either they wouldn't come out at all, or they would all come rushing out.
However, in the event of the latter alternative coming true, the Boneclaws would grab the Glass Rabbit, kick up a fuss, circle around in the sky, and then glide back into the mine, making the endeavour useless.
That was the knowledge Yan was working with.
