Chapter 8 - Game over!

The crowd cheered, and the senior nodded. "Alright, you're on. But don't expect any mercy."

The two of them agreed on the rules and began to play. The crowd cheered and chanted as they looked on, giddy with excitement. Most of them cheered for the Senior since they had confidence in him and thought he would definitely beat the arrogant girl.

So they watched on with anticipation.

But Valeria was not bordered at all. She tuned them out, her focus solely on the game she was about to win.

She moved with ease, her super speed and strength giving her an unfair advantage. The senior was good, but he was no match for her.

As they played, Valeria couldn't help but think about how easy it was to humble the senior. She had always known she was different, but it was moments like these that reminded her of just how different she was. And she was determined to make the most of it.

As the game intensified, Valeria's lead grew wider, her score reaching 30 points while the senior struggled with a mere 3. His frustration and anger were palpable, but he was no match for her supernatural abilities.

Despite his exhaustion, he refused to give up, and continued to play. But as time went on, he realized he was going to loose and so he resorted to dirty tricks to try and gain the upper hand.

As Valeria sprinted down the court, her speed and agility leaving the senior in the dust, he attempted to push her off balance so she would fall and sprain her ankle.

But Valeria was no ordinary girl. With her keen senses and supernatural strength, she easily anticipated his move and suddenly held him tight like she was going to beat him up.

Everyone froze as they saw the scene in front of them, but what happened next made their jaws drop wide.

Valeria suddenly pushed him away with incredible force that, when the guy fell to the ground, it shook slightly.

 "Thud!"

He crashed to the ground, the crowd gasping in shock at the sudden display of power. He lay there, shaking and sweating, his eyes fixed on Valeria with a mixture of anger and fear. And blood tickled from his nose.

"How dare you! Do you know who I am? This is far from over, I'll make sure you pay for this," he cursed angrily, his friends rushing to his side to escort him to the infirmary.

She simply shrugged, her expression unreadable. Only she knew that if she had used some more strength, the guy would have died instantly but she didn't want him to die. She wanted him to learn to not underestimate anyone.

The game ended with Valeria emerging as the clear champion, scoring an impressive 58 points.

She smirked, her body showing no signs of fatigue or exertion.

The crowd watched in stunned silence as Valeria walked calmly off the court, her reputation as a mysterious and powerful girl cemented in their minds.
