Renji directly opened the door of the tavern as he entered in a hurry, his heart dropped when he saw how messy the place had become.

Then Renji heard Ryuko's mother's voice from the back, where the kitchen was.

Going to the kitchen, he saw the couple, father Shibai was hugging his wife.
"What happened?!"
"S-some people came in here and tried to take us away, but thankfully the patrolling swordsmen were just around the corner, and they are now chasing after them..wait!! Renji!!
Renji! Why are you here?! Where's Ryuko?!!"
Father Shibai who was explaining what happened, suddenly asked Renji where his daughter was.
"Just moments after our boat left the dock, some people also took away Ryuko, I did not managed to catch them as they had a carriage waiting for them!"

Mother Shibai who had just experienced something horrifying, heard that her daughter was kidnapped, fainted!

In there, the people that greeted him were the men that would supposedly help him from the pirate elimination mission!

The vassal swordsman raised his voice as he looked at Renji.

The vassal swordsman shouted at Renji when he heard how he disrespectfully called out his young master's name.

A man in his forties wearing noble clothes along with various luxurious jewelry came out of the mansion, as the commotion at the gates was intensifying.
"My lord! This is the swordsman that I have reported to you earlier!"
The Vassal swordsman bowed lightly at the man.
"Hmm? You sure got guts kid! Coming here knowing you'll be punished for abandoning your mission!"
"SHUT UP! YOUR FUCKING SON KIDNAPPED RYUKO!! GIVE HER BACK!!"
"Hmm?!!"
The noble man frowned.
He looked at the vassal swordsman beside him, who slightly bowed, with sweat pouring down his cheeks.
He instantly knew that this was highly likely the doing of his son, and he ordered it without his knowing.
"Is that what happened?!"
Still, he looked at the vassal and the other swordsmen around.
He had been cleaning up the mess of his son a long long time now, and as long as there wasn't any evidence, another 'clean up' was easy for him.
"No sir! This kid is lying! We were at the scene, and the woman he had voluntarily went with the men at the dock!"
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!"
"I'm talking about what had happened! Besides, you say that it was the young master who had done it, but where is your evidence?!"
Renji was already trembling in anger as he looked at the people around him.
The viscount by now, knew that Renji did not have any evidence against his son, and for him, this would be an 'easy' ordeal.
"Hmmp! You dare accuse my son for an act that you do not have any evidence of, you do know that on top of your earlier abandonment of you mission and now, the slander of a noble, I can give you a very harsh punishment in accordance to the kingdom's law!"

Renji was completely enraged by now.

Gripping his katana, he looked at the people in front of him with eyes red with rage.
Viscount Ikeda, the vassal swordsman and the other swordsmen around, looked at Renji vigilantly.
The vassal and the others knew that this guy was different from other men that dared to storm in the viscount's mansion, as this time, the kid in front of them was a legit Master level swordsman!
And in this group right now, only the vassal was a Master level swordsman.
