A few minutes later, Rebecca came out wearing a blue cocktail dress that emphasized her curves even more than her usual tight school uniform.
Her long black hair was left down and cascaded down past her shoulders.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting," Rebecca apologized to Oliver as she walked over to where he and Emma were sitting.
Oliver stood up and admired Rebecca's beauty, looking her up and down.
"Hmmm... Nice." He complimented. "Come now, let's go somewhere nicer."
"Okay," she answered as he pulled her along and left the apartment with Emma in tow.
After stepping outside and reaching the parking area where Oliver left his car, Rebecca stopped in her tracks as she eyed his fancy sports car in awe.
"Is this your car?" She asked curiously.
"It is. Now you've got yourself a sugar daddy who will provide you with everything you want... I hope you'll be able to pay back this favor." Oliver replied in a playful tone.
Rebecca stared at him wide-eyed before blushing furiously. "W-What!? Sugar daddy!? When did I accept something like that!?!"
"It doesn't matter. Anyway, let's go..." Oliver continued smiling and pulled Rebecca by her hand, placing her in the back seat with Emma as he got behind the wheel and drove off.
During the ride, Rebecca couldn't help but steal occasional glances at Oliver from the side.
She was confused at the situation she was in right now, with one of her teachers joining them as well.
In fact, the last time she remembered having fun and spending the time in good company was when she was going out with her parents.
But that was almost a year ago when they had still been able to afford going out and celebrating birthdays and anniversaries together.
Now, looking at the car and the handsome young man who offered to pay for her father's treatment and was taking them somewhere to celebrate, she felt truly grateful and happy to have him in her life.
Without Oliver, she probably would've had to drop out of school and become a waitress just to make a living, never finishing her education and having a future.
In the past few months, the only other thing that made her happy was to go out and exercise—at least doing so helped keep her mind off other things.
But even that didn't help ease her anxiety, since her mother was always worrying about money.
So now that everything was going to turn around, she felt like crying again—only this time out of joy and gratitude towards the handsome young man.
Seeing the tears building in the corners of her eyes again from looking at the rearview mirror, Oliver spoke with a serious tone. "Hey now, I don't remember inviting you out today to cry. I told you before, didn't I? We are here to celebrate! And I think you've shed enough tears for today... or am I wrong?"
Rebecca sniffled and smiled, wiping off her tears. "Yes, you're right. I'm sorry, it's just that..." She paused as she bit her lip. "Never mind. Thank you very much."
"Good, let's leave all the sad thoughts behind." Oliver nodded as they drove off.
Once they reached the restaurant, Rebecca gasped when she saw how luxurious and big it looked.
It was easily a five-star restaurant located in the heart of the city with beautiful decorations all over the building and a grand entrance.
There were a lot of people going in and out of the hotel too, but none of them were looking shabby—all of them wore fancy clothes and looked wealthy.
Even Emma was quite taken aback by the appearance of the building.
The last time she had been to a restaurant, it was just a plain one catered to middle-class people.
Never did she go to such a grandiose-looking restaurant.
However, she wasn't shocked to the point of losing her cool.
Being the experienced woman that she was, Emma composed herself and exited the car, straightening her clothes and taking her place beside Oliver.
Rebecca took a deep breath to calm herself down before she followed Oliver's steps while a valet took his car to park it.
At the reception counter, Oliver gave his name, and the receptionist smiled brightly.
"Ah, yes, welcome to our Grand Royal Restaurant, sir. Please follow me; your private dining room is ready." The receptionist bowed to Oliver and then guided them to an elevator at the back.
Once inside, the receptionist pressed the button for the eleventh floor, which caused the elevator doors to close shut.
Soon, the elevator ascended, and once they reached their destination, the doors slid open again, allowing the three of them to get out.
The place was grand as expected, and a waitress approached to guide them to their private room.
Rebecca couldn't help but be in awe at how lavishly decorated the place was—even the lights seemed to sparkle!
As soon as they reached the dining room, the waitress gestured for them and opened the doors.
Inside was a very spacious hall with large windows showing the whole city from above.
In the center was a large round table and comfortable chairs surrounding it.
The lights were dimmer here than outside, creating a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.
However, what attracted Oliver's attention most were two beautiful women dressed in sexy outfits who were talking with each other near one of the walls.
Seeing his gaze, they turned their attention towards Oliver, and immediately their expression changed as if they had found something they wanted.
One of them wore a red chiffon dress that exposed her cleavage and covered nothing beyond her crotch area. Her curvy body was highlighted in a flattering way with that outfit.
Meanwhile, the other woman was dressed in a tight black dress, showing her back with its plunging neckline, while the slit at the side revealed her long, creamy legs.
Yet both of them still looked classy enough to belong in a place like this.
Oliver's eyes glimmered at the sight of the two beauties.
However, they didn't walk towards him or talk. Instead, they acted as if Oliver wasn't even there, resuming their conversation and ignoring the man entirely.
Oliver raised his eyebrow as he took this as a challenge.
So, he took Emma's hand and approached his other friends who were sitting at the table, with Rebecca following behind.
Brenda and Sarah smiled when Oliver brought Rebecca and Emma towards them.
"Ah, you're here. Great." Brenda spoke in a gentle tone as she looked at Rebecca, "I heard you had some troubles, but I'm glad you are here to celebrate with us. Congratulations on graduating, Rebecca!"
Sarah followed suit and stood up to greet Rebecca. "Yes, it's so great to have you with us! You know, I can't thank you enough for all the times you helped me back when I was struggling."
Rebecca felt glad to be greeted so warmly by her two classmates.
They were not that close to begin with, but Rebecca had always tried to help other classmates whenever they asked for help. So, seeing Sarah and Brenda talking to her in such a friendly manner made her feel much more comfortable than before.
"Thank you, Brenda and Sarah. I'm happy to celebrate with everyone as well." Rebecca replied with a smile. "And you don't have to thank me for anything. I'm always happy to help when I can."
