The following day, as Hunter lay in bed, watching Delilah, who was busy with her skincare routine by the dressing table, she turned to look at him as she lightly patted the serum on her face.
"What is it now?" He asked, guessing by the expression on her face that she wanted to have a serious conversation.
"So I've been thinking all day," she began. "About Callan…"
Hunter groaned. "Here I was thinking you'd forgotten about it."
Delilah laughed softly. "I haven't. I didn't. I was just letting you relax. You know I'm jobless, right? So, when you left for work and I was alone at home because your grandmother was busy with Sabrina's mother-in-law, I spent most of my time on social media. You were trending all day. Even though no one posted the picture or mentioned your name directly for obvious reasons, you were trending."
"How did you know I was the one trending if my name wasn't mentioned and my picture wasn't used?"
