"But you have to give us time, too."
"Princess Xi is the highest-ranking official of Shelter 7 on the surface. She has elites handpicked from the Royalist faction, and can rely on Shelter 7's old intelligence network, so of course she's faster."
"We're starting completely from scratch. We have to build our bases piece by piece, establish contact with the authorities, bribe informants, and set up an intelligence network. Naturally, we're slower."
"Besides...."
At this point, Rain Butterfly paused, then spoke mischievously, "I don't think you can blame us for this."
Hearing Rain Butterfly's sophistry, Qiu Tu frowned and asked in a deep voice, "Why can't I blame you?"
Rain Butterfly, naked, wrapped her arms around Qiu Tu's neck from behind, her soft weight pressing against his back, her delicate head resting on his shoulder.
She leaned in close to Qiu Tu's ear, giggling, "Because I was actually going to report this to you last night."
