As the border area controlled by the Sixth and Seventh Sanctuaries, this place can be said to be the most barren and backward area between the two major sanctuaries.
Before the Era of Disaster, this was a stretch of wasteland, sparsely populated.
After decades of abandonment, it became a desolate land. The ground is covered in variously shaped gravel, some sharp as knives, others smooth and rounded, either gray or brown, exuding a monotonous yet resilient color under the scorching sun.
Amid this desolate wilderness, a large convoy composed of military trucks and wheeled armored vehicles was slowly moving like a long steel dragon.
Their heavy and sturdy wheels mercilessly crushed the gravel below. Wherever they passed, the once stubborn gravel was shattered under immense pressure, making a dull sound, while the dust kicked up lingered long behind the convoy.
