The Entropy Moth is more akin to a "natural phenomenon" than a living being. Many scholars believe it might have some connection with the Cicada Mother, possibly being the discarded shell of the Cicada Mother, assimilated by the environment of the Void Realm, thus giving birth to such a wondrous existence.
These moths themselves are actually not aggressive, nor do they have any clear purpose.
However, they possess a deadly trait. Wherever they appear, everything around begins to disintegrate, and powers from the Path are disrupted and cannot be wielded normally. For the majority of Transcendents, encountering an Entropy Moth means all their means—whether offensive or defensive—become ineffective, and they cannot escape. They can only feel themselves gradually disintegrating into dust... If luck is on their side, the Entropy Moth might fly away before they are completely undone.
