Last night was a freaky hell. During dinner with aunt Stella Jaydin didn't stop calling and I didn't pick up making aunt Stella pester me to do so. I tired all my best to tell her it was nothing important but she wouldn't have none. I had to out off my phone and this morning seems to be alot worst with me waking up with a high fever. I dragged my butt of the bed and prepared for today's work.
"Eddie are you ok? You don't look so good" Aunt Stella says touching my forehead "You're burning with a fever".
"Aunt it's fine, I'm ok I need to leave or I'll be late".
"No go have some rest I'll inform Jaydin".
"Aunt forget it, i just need to tidy up some unfinished document and I'll go back home as soon as I'm done with it. I don't take up the while work hours".
"Hold on, let me get you some medicines"
"Aunt you worry alot, bye"
Eddie walks out in a haste to avoid the medicines.
During lunch time at the office, Eddie left the office back home due to dizziness.
Jaydin in his office dials her number but it's switched off.
He leaves his office to Eddie's office scanning his thumb on the door and it clicks open but the office is stark empty. Jaydin frowns and goes down to the receptionist.
"Good day sir" Clara Jones says.
Jaydin hums "did Eddie check in at work today?".
"Yes she did But she has already sign out"
Jaydin walks out of the company to the parking lot. His phone vibrates in his pocket. Looking at the caller ID, Aunt Stella.
"Good day aunt" he says on picking the call.
"Jaydin are you with Eddie. I have been trying to reach out to her but it's switched off. And this morning she left with a burning fever".
"A fever? Right now Eddie has checked out from the office, but I'm on my way home to check for her, I'll call you when i get home "
Jaydin says.
"Be sure to do so "Aunt Stella says hanging up.
Jaydin quickly enters the car driving back home. On his way he receives a call from James.
"What's up?"
"Where are you?" James ask.
"On my way home"
"You better be. Eddie's burning with a fever and acting all strange, come take care of tour wife"
"Have you called a doctor " Jaydin ask in a worried tone.
"Oh now you worry, the doctor has done is work on her, get yourself down here and you'll knoe the rest" James hangs up.
"Such a fool" Jaydin curse accelerating the car.
