After all, Bucky was once a Hydra agent. Although surprised inwardly, his face showed no emotion.

He glanced at Arthur once, then gave a proper salute.

Arthur nodded and then looked toward Dr. Skirth: "Board the plane."

"Where to?" Dr. Skirth looked a bit fearful when he saw Bucky.

Having 'Natasha', a vibrant, stunning beauty, here eased some of her tension regardless of the other party's identity.

But suddenly having to team up with a tough guy who looked dangerous was a jarring twist.

"To a safe place."

Arthur didn't elaborate, and Dr. Skirth had no choice but not to ask further.

At this point, doubts or worries were meaningless; the situation had come this far, whether they left or not, they had to.

Reluctantly, they boarded the fighter jet. After Arthur got in, he came over to Bucky… feeling awkward.

Perspective matters!

Looking up at Bucky, he said: "Once we arrive, find a place to keep her under soft confinement. Don't hurt her, and no need to scare her. Natasha should be good at this. When you get there, just relay what I just said to Natasha. Everything else, we'll discuss after I return."

"No problem." Bucky glanced up and down at Arthur, then suddenly with a strange expression said, "I suddenly feel the relationship between Natasha and you… is rather delicate."

"…"

Arthur's face darkened, then he turned and walked away.

Bucky rubbed his nose, feeling like he'd hit on something strange.

The boss was no fun, so he just boarded the fighter jet and flew straight to Camp Lehigh.

Arthur sat in the car, watching the fighter jet gradually disappear. Only then did he change back into his original clothes and appearance.

"Venom…"

He sighed softly, turned the wheel, and headed straight to Brock's apartment building downstairs.

His mind lingered over the matter for a while. As dawn approached, he shook his head: "Better to observe first."

Venom's stance was quite strange.

If you called him a bad person, it would fit, he kills, eats, and enjoys biting off others' heads. Such traits are terrifying.

But he also does things a hero should.

So he carries one label… an anti-hero!

This seemed to emphasize that this world is never just black and white.

At this stage, whether to adopt a soft approach toward him or just capture and kill him outright created two diverging paths.

If it were the former, how to approach, calm, and accommodate him would be a long and complicated problem.

Arthur didn't have much time to deal with those things…

"Compared to that, just smashing him to death would be a lot easier."

Arthur sighed, massaging his forehead, when he suddenly remembered the Life Foundation and the escaped Symbiote.

"What is this guy capable of?"

Allowing a Symbiote to bond with a human is definitely not a mundane affair.

It very likely could lead to some terrifying outcomes. After a moment of pondering, Arthur reluctantly sent a message to Natasha. He felt a bit helpless , if only he'd kept in contact with Natasha earlier, he wouldn't have had to bother Bucky with relaying these orders.

"What else?"

Natasha's voice carried a hint of exhaustion.

"I haven't slept all night. If you can't give me a perfect explanation for interrupting my beauty sleep, I swear I won't let you off!"

"...Help me investigate that missing old man."

Arthur's voice weakened by a few degrees.

"Help me find every spider web clue she left behind."

"I'm already on it," Natasha replied. "I'll have my assistant feed you the information. So, don't disturb my sleep again… unless you're coming over to sleep with me!"

"Goodbye!"

Arthur cut the communication in a second, feeling as if he were walking a tightrope over a cliff.

Even if he truly were walking a tightrope on a cliff, he wouldn't be afraid, because he could fly. But this inexplicable feeling of anxiety was truly unsettling.

The car, "Little Black", automatically adjusted the seat angle and stretched out fully, turning into a single bed, supremely comfortable to lie on.

Arthur closed his eyes with satisfaction, not forgetting to give an order:

"Keep an eye on Brock. If he leaves the apartment, notify me immediately."

[Understood, sir. Please rest assured. Would you like some relaxing music to soothe your nerves?]

"No, thank you..."

[Understood, sir. Adjusting cabin temperature. Natural airflow circulation activated. Wishing you the fastest path to the highest quality sleep.]

"…Little Black, you talk too much."

Though Arthur was capable of going days and nights without sleep with no problem, sneaking a moment of rest in such a busy time still felt nice.

Soon after closing his eyes, he slipped into sleep.

He dreamed.

Arthur rarely dreamed; the stronger his power, the fewer dreams came.

He remembered when he returned from space and just found Thor, he had a dream , walking through mist.

But this time, the dream was about cutting grass.

He swung the sickle endlessly, chopping again and again. Behind him, the haystack grew taller and taller.

In the dream, he hoped the growing haystack would block out the blazing sun overhead.

But as he kept chopping, he seemed to forget his original purpose.

When he finally recalled it, the haystack behind him had grown almost like a skyscraper. He didn't know why there was so much grass.

At last, he remembered his goal. Under the giant shadow, the world turned dim.

A cool breeze blew. He contentedly leaned against the haystack and fell asleep… and then the haystack caught fire!

Suddenly, Arthur's eyes snapped open. He wiped cold sweat from his brow.

Thunderous rock music blasted in his ears.

Fierce, wild, explosive , a sound tormenting Arthur's ears like a death sentence.

Though many people liked it, and it could indeed vent or infect emotions… at this moment, listening to it was deadly.

No wonder his previously pure and serene dream instantly turned into raging flames and chaotic demons dancing!

"Little Black…"

Arthur frowned and called out. The violent noise abruptly ceased!
