Chapter 61 - Chapter 60 -Big Map

"Enma!"

Enma raised his arm, hugging the girl as she jumped into his arms, "Naoko. You are as cheerful as always."

The girl jumped and wrapped her legs around Enma, "Where were you!? I was so scared!"

"Were you worried about me," he grinned, holding her in the air, "don't worry. Your big brother is still alive. I'll protect you."

Naoko Uchiha pouted. Her face turned a red as she put her hand over his eyes, "Dummy...dummy."

Enma removed her hand, putting her down on the table. Much like any cliche setting, she was an adorable little sister, who was hot but untouchable because she was the little sister. Her role was to be an emotional supporter and tease. Be it those big glistening eyes of hers or that curvy figure and the nice rack of hers.

Her legs were long enough to reach the ground and were bare as they dangled. Naoko Uchiha wasn't tall. She had long hair, black as coal, just like him.

Her big, round eyes curved into a smile. She put her fingers to cheeks, looking for any injury on his face. Naoko wore a frilly purple dress that was shorter on one side, revealing the edge of her thigh. It had a collar that ended right before her breasts and showed some of the pale skin of her chest, as well as a nice view of her cleavage. Her purple pumps, that looked too sexy and classy for the simple kitchen setting, reached her ankles.

She breathed out in relief, pressing her forehead against his, "Enma...I thought you'd never come back."

"I almost didn't. I awakened my Sharigan," Enma's lips brushed against her ear, making her cheeks turn red. Her eyes went wide as her hands rested on his chest. She looked into his eyes, seeing his eyes turn red, the black tomoe forming one after the other until three of them were swirling in his eyes.

She hugged him in joy, "Enma! Enma! Enma! Oh my god! You awakened the Sharingan! Oh my god, oh my god! I can't believe it!"

She buried her face into his chest, "Enma...you have no idea how relieved I am... everyone is going to be so happy!"

"Yeah, about that. Let's not," Enma hugged his little sister in his arms, narrowing his eyes. He scanned the surrounding. The house wasn't in a great condition. It had cracks and burn marks. The walls looked old and scratched, the lights were dim, and the windows had some broken glass, 'this place...I know these two are supposed to be war orphans, and the house wasn't anything good to begin with but this is...not natural.'

"What? Why? If the village knows-!"

"Shhh," he covered her mouth, apologetically looking down, "I want to take a break..."

"Oh. Oh..." she hugged him, stroking his back, "I got it. I won't tell anyone right now, but have you thought what you are going to do? Someday you'd have to tell them...and then people will ask why didn't you say before. What if they think you have bad intentions...Enma..."

"Right," Enma kissed her forehead, "I can take a few days, can't I?"

"Few days is fine," Naoko breathed out in relief, "Enma! Sit! Let me get you something to eat!"

She happily jumped off the table, going to put something together quick. He sat down on the nearby chair, pushing it back before he raised his legs to rest on the table, 'she's going to notice the change in personality. Enma was rather dark and quiet, unconfident, but he loved his little sister.'

'On that topic. Bullshit system. You can hear me can't you,' Enma stared towards the ceiling, his sight stopped by the blue screen in front of him.

[Only when you direct your thoughts towards the system]

'Sure, I believe you,' he sarcastically rolled his eyes, 'I want to learn architecture.'

[...Ok?]

'For something called Heaven's Mind you are incredibly stupid,' Enma raised his eyebrow, supporting the chair on its hind legs, 'It might take a bit of effort and years but I can recreate Scarlet Comedy. You went through all the trouble to bring me here; wouldn't that be a waste of effort? Unless the whole purpose behind bringing me here is me being here.'

'Hm, what is this strange feeling. Ever since I woke up here it's like I can sense intentions of people around me. It has nothing to do with Ninjas. In fact, it reminds me of the Skill I upgraded to 255th Level in the First Play through. Communication. I feel like I can sense even the system's intention to some parts. It wouldn't give me this skill...then it's the other way around? It brought me here because I gained this skill? How did I gain it though and why only from the first play through among the ten?'

He chuckled, hanging his hair to the sides, 'Or do I have the others too? I doubt it. Communication used to be the basic of basics skill. It was the first skill everyone had and allowed them to talk to NPC to take quests. Though, leveling this skill didn't matter until you crossed Level 80 and then it only allowed you to take simple quests from any NPC. But the reward was so small that it didn't matter.

After that point, there were only a few people in the world still leveling this skill to be unique. Though, after Level 175 there was finally a change that made it all worthwhile. Doing anything and everything gave you experience. Even if you sat down and slept inside the game, you would gain experience and when it reached Level 255, it allowed one to break the limits of the game system and reach higher levels, read intentions of other players, and even judge their attack pattern among many other benefits that made this skill broken.

At first, he thought it was a bug, 'but seeing how OP Demon God is...insanity was the truest way of beating the game...only...I got greedy. I wanted to try more insane shit, so I got killed by the Demon God and tried again with another skill.'

'Oye, system. Do I have a status screen?'

[Name: Enma Uchiha]

[Limit: Phase One]

[Rank: High Apprentice/Elite Chunin]

[Skills: Communication (Level 255/Ex)]

[Innate Demonic Abilities: Emotion Devouring (Feed on Emotions to Increase Aura Limits), Phases (True Demons are sealed by Heaven. Unlock the Phases to Regain Primordial Power)]

[Innate Abyssal Abilities: Devouring, Puppetry, Shapeshifting]

[Innate Uchiha Ability: Sharingan (Three Tomoe)]

'...huh,' he got on his feet, "Naoko. I must get a few things. I'll be right back."

"Don't leave without eating! What do you want to buy? I'll get it while you eat!" Naoko ran out of the kitchen, wearing an apron. He waved his hand, ignoring the worried look in her eyes, "I'll be right back."

He stepped out of the house, greeting the sunlight, closing his eyes, 'I won't be able to use these skills to the fullest unless I have Scarlet Comedy, but what I have should be enough. Let's try living a life here...until...'

A Few Days Later, Night,

Two ninjas wearing Anbu masks appeared near the small, rundown house. Their footsteps made little noise on the old wooden floor, leaving almost no trace of their passing as they walked into the room where a man with black hair laid sleeping. The moonlight streaming through the cracks in the wall revealed that he was bare-chested and sleeping with only a thin, threadbare sheet over his waist and legs.

"Enma," the taller one spoke, making the sleeping man slowly open his eyes, looking towards them. He sat up, "Giving me a few days to rest. Aren't you worried there would be rumours that Lord Danzo has gone soft?"

The two Anbu exchanged a look, ordering him, "Get ready. Lord Danzo wants to see you."

"I never would have guessed," Enma stretched his arms, 'right, act like Enma...shouldn't taunt them so much.'

'That's so boring,' he put on his t-shirt, getting to his feet, "Let's go."

Grudgingly, he followed them. He planned to repair his house first, but seeing how he was being followed by these Ninjas, he decided against it and waited for them to approach before making any move. The three of them made their way to underground hideout where he came upon the man with the bandaged right eye sitting on the throne.

He knelt, much like the Anbu's guiding him, "Lord Danzo."

"You didn't come to give me your report. Why?" Danzo narrowed his eye, watching the boy from Uchiha Clan. One of the few he had managed to get his hand on in Root Anbu.

"After the recent life and death experience...I am fearful of my life. I wanted to take a break," he sat down both his knees, becoming comfortable, "Good news though. I awakened my Sharingan."

"Hm, did you?" Danzo stared at his eyes, seeing a single tomoe Sharingan appear in them, "Not bad."

"Yes, if Lord Danzo doesn't mind. I would like to take three months break to train my Sharingan."

Danzo's eye turned cold. He stared at the Uchiha boy, tapping his finger on the chair arm, "Fine. Go take your break. After that, I have a mission for you."

"Thank you," Enma bowed, taking his leave, trying his best not to look behind, 'wow, that's some epic level hate there. It's like I stole his treasure or something.'

He left the hideout, making his way back to the Uchiha area when he came across Uchiha guards who were on the lookout. One of them gestured with his head, "Head of the Clan wants to see you."

"Hah...sure," Enma stopped and sighed, going with them until they came to the dark room, 'No... like...is there a problem with lights. Maybe electricity isn't popular among Konoha's high levels. Are these people going to be like in our time...candles were the shit. Wait, how did I usually address him...?'

"Enma sit," the head of the clan kindly spoke to him. There wasn't even a shred to tenseness that usually was there in Enma's memories. He followed the order, thinking, 'what did I do? I absolutely did something for their attitudes to change so drastically from the memories. Because I didn't go see Danzo...?'

"You have finally decided."

"Yes, I have," Enma answered first and thought later, 'decided... kindness and hate. Faction struggle?'

He closed his eyes, trying to remember. The problem was, it was never explicitly stated from any side. There were only actions like people coming to threaten, the house not being repaired, getting less money from the side of the clan among other things. Petty things that said something more was going on.

On Danzo's side, his interest was in Naoko, but Enma tried to replace her, and for whatever reason Danzo agreed, 'I have a feeling he would have approached Naoko after Enma's death, when she was at her weakest. Until her brother was alive, she wouldn't have betrayed the clan. That doesn't explain why now? Because I came back alive? The only other thing I did...'

"I had to burn them," he blurted out, "I couldn't..."

"I understand," Uchiha Clan Head sighed, "I won't live long."

"Hm?"

"You have to be careful too. Try not going to the missions anymore and warn my son if something happens to me."

'It is related to the bodies. The only other thing I did was when I absorbed the bodies...does Danzo want these bodies?' Enma looked at the middle-aged man. The tired look on his face, 'He knows it? But he can't do anything about it. The ongoing war will lead to the village wanting to sweep this under the rug. But what kind of explanation could Danzo give?'

'Right, he destroyed the eyes for protection. He can't do anything without proof,' Enma joined in the sigh. He opened his eyes, revealing the three tomoe sharingan, "I might be able to survive a little longer than you think too."

Clan Head raised his head, seeing the sharingan, and a joyful look flashed in his eyes, "You awakened your Sharingan! Three-!"

He stopped, seeing Enma put his finger on his lips, "What?"

"Let's not risk saying a few things," Enma scratched his cheek, "I am a bit paranoid about this stuff."

"Haha, it's good to be paranoid," Clan Head sighed, "Good, there is another. When the time comes..."

"Is it necessary?"

"I am afraid there is no choice. It's for the future."

"I see," Enma nodded, not saying anything, 'as much as I want to. This is not my fight to pick. Let's wait for the next one.'

He bowed, "thank you for everything you have done for our clan. You can be at ease. When you are gone...I'll be the next shield."

Clan Head smiled, closing his eyes, "Go, rest up."

Enma and Naoko's House,

Enma took off his shoes, noticing the creature hiding behind the door, "don't worry. Everything is fine."

"Really?" Naoko peaked out from the other side of the door. He thought of something.

"Did some bad old men come to take you in the cult?"

"No..." Naoko blankly answered, "Enma, what cult?"

"Nothing," Enma patted her head, thinking, 'There are three big bosses in Konoha. Uchiha one is about to die...not sure how the rest of the family would see me...us then. I can kill Danzo...but then the rest of his Minon will spread out and form minor Dungeon or become field bosses who would come for me. If I kill the Hokage, then whole of Konoha would turn into a death-trap.'

'It's a big map. Let's start by clearing one block at a time.'
