Chapter 1: The Punch That Broke Reality

Z-City, Earth (One Punch Man Universe)

A mosquito buzzed.

Saitama blinked once.

Then again.

"Still alive?" he muttered, eyes locked on the tiny insect flitting just out of reach. He swatted lazily — missed. The mosquito whined past his ear, mocking him.

"Cheeky little thing," he grumbled.

Around him, the ruined city was still smoldering from his last "training" fight — an unfortunate monster the size of a skyscraper had challenged him, shouted something about domination, justice, evolution, blah blah… one punch. Gone.

But now, the real enemy hovered before him: the mosquito.

Saitama leapt.

He missed again.

But in that instant — in the space of his frustrated swing — something cracked.

Not the air.

Not the earth.

Something deeper. Something ancient. The fabric of reality itself.

---

Elsewhere…

In a realm beyond physics, time, or human perception — where glowing threads of existence interwove like a cosmic web — a rip opened. A single punch, careless and annoyed, tore through boundaries that should never have been touched.

Multiversal energies, bound by the Laws of Cosmic Order, wavered. A thread snapped. A path split.

And through the void… Saitama fell.

"Eh?" he muttered mid-drop. The mosquito was gone. "Weird…"

Then — darkness.

EARTH-199999: The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Afghanistan, 2008

Explosions echoed through the canyon.

Tony Stark, bloodied and shaken, stumbled out of the Ten Rings' cave. His crude Iron suit — Mark I — hissed with steam. He looked around, chest heaving.

He'd made it out.

He was alive.

Just as he collapsed onto the sand, a gust of wind whooshed past him. He squinted. "What the hell was that?"

From the sky, a man dropped like a stone, landing with a soft thud that echoed strangely.

No crater. No seismic impact. Just… a bald man in a yellow jumpsuit, standing barefoot in the desert, looking around blankly.

Tony blinked. "You… okay, man?"

Saitama dusted sand off his glove. "Uhh… I think I took a wrong turn."

Tony stared. The bald guy didn't even look tired.

"Are you with the terrorists?" Tony asked, reaching for a pipe.

Saitama tilted his head. "Terrorists?"

"No? Good." Tony coughed, then narrowed his eyes. "Wait… are you wearing pajamas?"

"…They're a hero costume," Saitama said.

Silence.

Then the sky trembled.

New York – S.H.I.E.L.D. Headquarters

Nick Fury stood in front of a large screen showing strange multiversal readings.

Maria Hill walked in. "Sir, we just picked up an anomaly. Something big. Cosmic big."

Fury nodded, staring at a heat signature in the Middle East. "Did it crash from space?"

Hill shook her head. "No entry path. No origin. It just… appeared. Like someone teleported a black hole in and out of existence."

Fury frowned. "We just started talking about the Avengers Initiative, and now the universe starts glitching? Perfect timing."

"Should we investigate?"

He looked at the screen again.

"No," he said. "Send someone we can afford to lose."

Back in the Desert

Saitama walked next to Tony, who was still recovering from the heat, the wounds, and the confusion.

"So," Saitama said, pointing at Tony's suit, "you made that out of, like… garbage?"

"Hey. Scrap metal, not garbage," Tony snapped.

"You rich?"

"…yeah."

Saitama's eyes lit up. "Does rich mean you know where the nearest grocery store is?"

Tony groaned. "This is gonna be a weird day."

Meanwhile… In the Sanctum Sanctorum

Doctor Strange's hands trembled. Not from weakness — from confusion.

He hadn't yet become the Sorcerer Supreme. That title belonged to the Ancient One, but even now, as a junior master of the mystic arts, he could feel the shiver in the cosmic ley lines.

A new presence had entered this world. A being with no fate. No destined path. No cosmic balance.

Just raw, unexplainable force.

The Ancient One stood silently behind him.

"…What is it?" Strange asked.

She didn't answer immediately.

Then she said:

"A man. With power beyond comprehension.

But with no purpose. No desire.

Only one emotion surrounds him: boredom."
