Chapter 202: Trade of the Purple Equipment
Packing up all the building designs, Gu Xi asked Du Wushuang for help to drag those materials to the gate of Warehouse No. 9.
Afterwards, Gu Xi turned his hand, and the city gate appeared above these materials. As the city gate moved forward, all the materials were sent into the city of Aridowei.
Du Wushuang was quite surprised by Gu Xi's method of operation.
"Where are your undead? Why not let them come out and move the stuff in?"
"Don't mention it, my undead almost all got wiped out in the last battle. I haven't had time to release the compensated undead yet. Right now, there's no one in my city, so I can only send things in this way. I'll deal with the city's matters once I finish here."
"Do you still have other things to do here?"
Du Wushuang blinked expectantly at Gu Xi.
"I still have a trade to complete. Liu Kai helped me arrange a meeting with a wealthy guy who can buy the purple equipment. Also, I haven't completed the mission of the Wisdom Tree."
"What mission? Long-term missions can be done anywhere. Are you blind or what? No, I won't let you go today."
Upon hearing this, Du Wushuang puffed her cheeks and, reaching out, lifted Gu Xi, "Today, you're not going anywhere."
"Okay, okay, I get it. Can you put me down first?"
Gu Xi felt very uncomfortable being carried and, fearing to hurt Du Wushuang, could only wave his hand in resignation.
As for the long-term mission and the Wisdom Tree, Gu Xi couldn't care less about them right now. Anyway, the mission was just a freebie, and it didn't matter much for the time being.
Seeing Gu Xi's weak struggle, Du Wushuang laughed happily.
In her laughter, the sky over the Dispersed Immortal Garden turned from white to black, then back to white, and in a blink, a day and a half had passed.
It wasn't until Liu Kai's raven delivered a message, while a visibly thinner Gu Xi walked out, holding his waist.
With one hand holding the Cold Wind Staff, he released the Evil Coffin and looked up at the raven that had delivered the message.
"I'm not familiar with this place. Can you lead the way?"
The clever raven glanced at Gu Xi before landing on the Evil Coffin.
Gu Xi struggled to climb onto the Evil Coffin, gripping the iron chain tightly to protect himself.
The Evil Coffin shot forward quickly, taking Gu Xi with it.
The raven flew and guided the way, leading Gu Xi to the edge of the Crystal Forest.
There, Liu Kai was conversing with a rather handsome Death Knight.
This Death Knight was tall, broad-shouldered, and muscular, wearing a silver-blue half-armor and holding a helmet. His long black hair hung down loosely, looking quite ostentatious.
At his feet was a platinum-colored long-handled square-headed hammer.
When the hammer stood upright on the ground, for some reason, Gu Xi could hear a strange musical sound from afar.
This anomaly made Gu Xi pause, realizing that this hammer might be a piece of purple equipment.
Noticing Gu Xi's small movements, the Death Knight laughed heartily.
"Kai, you were right. He does have good purple equipment. Hello, I'm Song Yumo, Death Knight, pleased to meet you."
Gu Xi quickly reached out his hand, "Gu Xi."
"I've heard of you, the top student at Netherwind Academy, known as the Breath of the Undead, mastering one of the three divine skills."
"You're too kind!"
"Let's cut to the chase. Kai said you have a purple tank equipment for Death Knights, a shield. Show it to me."
Gu Xi felt proud and took out the Ghost Face Skin and the Trickster Hand, placing them in front of Song Yumo.
"It's not just one piece; it can be considered a set."
As soon as Gu Xi took out the Ghost Face Skin, Song Yumo's expression changed, and a strange light appeared on the square-headed hammer at his feet. Within the light, a skeleton was constantly waving its hands.
Song Yumo looked serious, picked up the Ghost Face Skin, and examined its properties carefully before finally saying, "Good stuff."
Liu Kai, meanwhile, had picked up the Trickster Hand placed aside, looked at it in confusion, then speechlessly turned to Gu Xi, "Comrade Gu, you're really giving this away as a bonus? Are you crazy? Do you know this can fetch a sky-high price from any Death Knight?"
"Oh, what's that? Let me see?"
Song Yumo took the Trickster Hand, glanced at it, then looked at Gu Xi, "Comrade Gu, these two items shouldn't be sold together. The shield is for the main tank, while the Trickster Hand is for the off-tank. Mixing them won't fetch a good price."
Gu Xi was also speechless; he hadn't realized there were so many distinctions in tank equipment.
He thought bundling them together would fetch a higher price. But it turned out to be a misstep here.
Fortunately, Song Yumo was very interested in both pieces of equipment.
"But it's fine. I have many Death Knights at home. The Trickster Hand can be used by my brother. As for the shield..."
Song Yumo hesitated for a moment, then looked up, "This item might not be easy to sell at my place."
Gu Xi wanted to ask why, but seeing Song Yumo's handsome face and thinking about the Ghost Face Skin's special skill, he understood.
If everyone at his place looked like this, no one would want to use the Ghost Face Skin.
Just as Gu Xi was about to retrieve the Ghost Face Skin, Song Yumo said, "I have a friend who would love to use this. He's trying to become the main tank for the fourth team of the Sun Knight Regiment. This item is very important to him. I'll appraise it first. If he offers more, I'll give you the extra."
Hearing this, Gu Xi turned his gaze to Liu Kai, then smiled and replied, "Okay, name your price. If it's agreeable, the deal is done."
"I heard from Kai that you want large building design plans, specifically the Lich's Tomb or the Bone Dragon's Grave.
Your offer isn't far off from the market price, but these two items are hard to find, especially the Bone Dragon's Grave, which isn't available on the market at all.
Even within the guild, there's no such building. The guild does have two Lich's Tombs, but they produce Corpse Wizards. And these two are treasures of the Sunlight Mage Guild. All undead mages joining the Sunlight Mage Guild record their life phylacteries in the tombs. If they die in battle, they transform into Corpse Wizards here.
It's said that the older generation of players fought for over five years for these two tombs. Wanting the design plans for these two buildings is unlikely. I have another idea if you're willing to compromise."
