Coyote had finally managed to wound his opponent "Sword". However, he had already received several serious wounds himself. It remained to be seen whether he had enough left in the tank to win his fight or not.
"How in the world did Coyote overcome that attack? He's literally showering him with an infinite amount of slashes at once. How can you block them all?" Erik asked.
"It's actually fairly simple." Hezikiah answered him. "Even if the scope of the attack is infinite, the surface of his body is finite. Therefore only a certain amount of slashes could make contact with his body at once."
"That's exactly right." Toro confirmed. "That being said, it would still be trillions of slashes assaulting him at once. Coyote just kept pushing himself until he could block more and more of his attacks. Eventually he was able to block all the strikes and deliver some damage of his own."
"And now I'll finish it with this!" Coyote shouted.
"Wolf King's Fang!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Coyote's attack ripped through the old warrior's neck and he dropped dead instantly. The crowd was momentarily silent in shock of Coyote being able to turn the fight around and snatch victory out of the jaws of defeat. Though in the next moment they applauded his incredible performance.
"I didn't expect the crowd to cheer for him. After all, we are in the imperial capital." Hezikiah said.
"It's not all that surprising. They are here more for entertainment than national pride." Toro responded.
Toro then went down to the ring to help his brother up.
"Did I do good big brother?" Coyote asked.
"That was a brilliant performance Coyote." Toro said as he pat his younger brother on the head and carried him to get medical attention.
With Coyote's victory, the Coalition team was now only one win behind the imperials.
The next match was between Oscuro, formerly known as "Darkness", and "Bow". Oscuro was known for being particularly lazy and unmotivated. In this fight he finally pushed himself to his limits and even pushed past them to give his team the victory and tie up the score.
After that it was hjs half brother Hikari's turn, formerly known as "Light". He fought against another member of the Four War Powers, "Axe". Just like his brother, he found a way to push past his limits, though unlike his brother he was killed and the victory would go to "Axe".
Erik's match against "Spear" was a battle that pushed both men to their limits. Erik grasped victory by activating his Sun King Mode. Both the massive "Spear" and his equally massive lance were both reduced to nothing but ash and smoke by Erik's fiery attack. His victory had tied the score again.
