For Hades, you could say that he's been through life and death, madness, and countless battles. He's experienced everything that could be experienced.
But there is one thing Hades has never gone through: excitement. That kind of burning passion that makes someone want to participate wholeheartedly. Hades had never felt that before.

Not really! Hades is someone who controls everything with rationality, so it's only natural that this is the result. It's not surprising at all. But this also points to Hades' own uniqueness.

But the biggest issue is that primordial gods, born with immense power, rarely ever surpass themselves to become True Gods.
It's nearly impossible. Not because of external factors, but because the problems lie within. Primordial gods are born with invincible power.
But what about their mindset?

The importance of one's mindset becomes clear with a little thought. If you don't handle the mindset properly, everything is just a joke.
This is undeniable. A little reflection reveals the nature of the problem quite clearly.
Hades, on the other hand, has been constantly perfecting his inner self and mindset. This is not a joke! Hades knows his mindset has flaws, and these need to be addressed. There's no doubt about it.

Because of this, Hades has never relaxed or allowed himself to slack off. In any situation he could be involved in, he would participate, because these are things he must handle.
Whether it's his mindset or his inner self, both need to be steadily improved. It's essential to change and improve everything about oneself. This is absolutely, unquestionably necessary. A little thought makes it clear how vital these issues are.

For Hades, this game, this opportunity, is another chance to perfect his mindset.

Persephone whispered softly, "How should we handle the creation of this race?"
Hades thought for a moment and calmly replied, "Since it's a race for the underworld, and since we are creating it, it naturally needs to be perfect. Persephone, you will personally create this race—make it absolutely perfect."

Hades paused.

As a result, he's never paid much attention to the formation of his faith-based divine artifact. It's almost as if it's been left there, forgotten. It's not something he's ever been too concerned about.
