Urgency? No! For Hades, urgency wasn't necessarily a good thing. On the contrary, when one reaches this stage, an impatient mindset can easily ruin everything. Instead, proceeding calmly and steadily, step by step, is the most important and fundamental approach. Advancing slowly but surely is the key. Any hasty moves would not bring great rewards.
Especially when one has reached this point.
At this moment, Aether arrived at the Elysium and respectfully knelt on one knee. "Greetings, Your Majesty, and the Queen of the Underworld!"
"Rise."
Persephone, radiating elegance and grace, spoke gently.
Aether stood up and respectfully said, "Your Majesty, I have brought back the Fire of the Sun. Over countless years, it has transformed into a firebird, which can now be called the Fire Bird, making it a fitting candidate for the position of the Fire Beast."
Hades responded calmly, "Aether, you've done well."
With a flick of Hades' finger, the firebird, still bound by the black hole, transformed into streams of light and vanished without a trace.
Aether respectfully added, "Your Majesty, it was my duty!"
Hades continued, "Go and rest. After spending millions of years in the Star Realm, you have gained enough insight. Take your time and proceed steadily."
"Yes!"
Aether retreated respectfully. Hades then extended his divine sense.
In an instant, high in the crown of the World Tree, the Serpent of the Earth and Sky, the Earth Mother Serpent, and the Black Sea Whale were all in a state of slumber, quietly bound by the World Tree. With Hades' divine sense, the black hole shattered, releasing the firebird, which then merged into the World Tree. Instantly, the previously calm World Tree began to tremble violently.
At a visible speed, the World Tree consumed the firebird, which struggled fiercely. But, in the end, the struggle was futile.
Within a short time, the result was already determined. The firebird was quickly devoured by the World Tree, its flames transformed into strands of light, taking the place of the primordial fire.
Now, the Earth Mother Serpent, the Black Sea Whale, and the Fire Bird, representing earth, water, and fire, had all emerged. Only the Wind Beast remained.
The consumption of the Fire Bird didn't bring significant changes to the Underworld—just a slight enhancement. In fact, the change was so subtle that it might as well have been nonexistent.
However, Hades didn't mind this. He knew well that this was simply the foundation for greater power later on. The most important moment would come when the fourth Wind Beast was added.
As time passed and the Wind Beast returned, this would trigger an explosive growth. By then, the Underworld would undergo a profound transformation.
At that time, the entire Underworld might experience an earth-shattering change. Hades would step into the realm of the Ancient Gods, and the transformation of the Underworld? It might become something beyond description.
When the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind finally converge, the Underworld will undergo its true metamorphosis. At that moment, everything will be completely different.
Hades withdrew his divine sense.
Persephone softly remarked, "Husband, it seems there hasn't been much change in the Underworld."
Hades replied calmly, "It's a process of accumulating strength. When everything converges, that's when the real transformation will begin."
"Understood."
Persephone nodded, indicating she understood.
After a brief moment of thought, she softly asked, "Husband, the giants who created the Titan bloodline are preparing to join the struggle for dominance in the Silver Age. Should we in the Underworld create our own race as well?"
"Yes."
Hades had always held this position.
In fact, the involvement of the giants had ignited a fire within Hades, making everything more exciting.
After all, a game where all the players are weak is incredibly dull. But now, with powerful opponents entering the game, it naturally became much more interesting.
For Hades, everything in the past had felt much the same.
Even when facing his father, the invincible Titan God-King, he remained composed. His father was undeniably powerful, but at that time, the immense pressure Hades endured made it impossible for him to achieve anything.
That was a life-or-death struggle, but it was never an evenly matched game. This situation was unavoidable, and there was no denying it.
Now, however, things were different. Hades could clearly see the change.
His status had changed, and so had everything about him. Since that was the case, naturally, everything was now different. Under these circumstances, how would the outcome unfold?
Obviously, there was no need to say more. Hades had a clear view of the situation, and the entry of the giants made the game more interesting. If it's a game worth playing, then, of course, it should be played well.
"Hahaha..."
Persephone couldn't help but laugh softly, covering her mouth as she did. "It's rare to see you so interested, husband."
Hades calmly replied, "When everything is dull and predictable, it becomes boring. Now that things are getting interesting, of course, I'm interested."
Hades didn't hide his feelings. There was nothing wrong with this state of mind.
Total control through pure rationality isn't necessarily a bad thing, but Hades was also very aware that this newfound excitement wasn't harmful at all. In fact, it was a good thing. Many things only become clear after experiencing them firsthand.
