Chapter 6 - A Deal To Last A Lifetime

---Somewhere far from the Cavern of Kings---

"Sister, I do not understand you. Why did you help her enter the Temple?"

A dark laugh hummed from the witch, her face bathed in the light of the Eye. The Eye was one of a kind. She could see and hear anything she wanted to and anyone.

"What? You know I love a good plot twist. It has been ages since something this interesting happened and I have decided to seize the chance.

"But you have forgotten one more thing, your spells are untraceable. The Morvians will only know of this disseat if they come to the Temple themselves"

I turned around pointing a glare at Herape. She sat in a couch at the corner of the of the room stirring her cup of tea. Her pale orange hair fell on the headrest of the seat and her ash gown shone slightly.

Bitch.

"It might have been in your head but I heard that. Thanks for the complements."

I rolled my eyes at her.

"I love a good plot, sister, and I am very invested in this one so I do not plan on making mistakes. Plus, who do you think will tell the Morvians that their precious relic is gone."

An evil smirk spread across my face as they realised my plan.

This is going to be fun.

---Cavern Of Kings---

Fenris sped off and within a short space of time they arrive in the coldest regions of Asgard. She got off the dark figure of her companion and made her way over the thick layer of snow and ice towards the Cavern of Kings.

She looked at the Valia cradled on her arms and she already had her eyes on her, staring at the mother with an expressionless face.

Valia's eyes were beautiful, upon seeing them Hela was stupefied. They were a mix of a variety of colours, like a rainbow but these colours were blended in a magnificent manner, a unique harmony.

'These are the eyes I will never see again', thought Hela to herself as she looked at her daughter.

Hela continued walking through the snow and ice carefully cradling the infant against herself to shield against the bone chilling breeze. Soon she made it to the meeting place.

The Cavern of Kings was actually a burial site. It had statues of past Asgardian kings which lined the entrance way of the caves. Intangible writings and markings littered every available space on the walls of the cavern. Rumours say that these are the written accords of all kings, past, forgotten and yet to come.

Hela walked through the entrance and by the magic held by the cavern itself, the old torches ignited revealing the path in the cave more clearly. Dried bones of soldiers and warriors lined the floors. The past protectors of the Cavern. Several golden weapons and priceless ornaments littered the ground with a fanciful gleam but who dared to steal from the kings buried here.

At least they never lived to tell the tale.

The entrance opened up into a wider space. The 'meeting' as they called it. There were thrones everywhere and tombs behind every throne. The tombs filled with the bodies and belongings of past kings as far as everyone knew. The thrones were in no definite order, this made it near impossible to see if some one was in here with you or not but she wasn't Queen of Valhalla for nothing.

He was here.

"Heimdall" Hela spoke into the cave with a rather piqued voice.

"Why did you call me here, where are the children?" replied a voice from the right of her.

She stood in the centre of the meeting and at a great disadvantage but did not overly care because she sought no fight.

"Come forward, I am not here for a fight"

Heimdall hesitated but reluctantly came from behind two adjoined thrones and made his way forward.

His hair which were in locks were streaked with grey for he was as old as her own father and that was a lot of millenniums. He sported the top half of a complete silver armour which had seen better days and a pair of loosely fitted brown trousers. A black hood shrouded part of his appearance but Hela could still see the concealed weapon.

"We are at war but we leave the children out of it. Now tell me whe-" Hela interrupted with light frustration coating her tone.

"There are no children!"

"Then why did you call this negotiation" Heimdall said with a curious look.

Hela took her time and lowered her voice before responding.

"I need your help, I am with child-"
