When Leila got home, she found that her things had been dropped off at the security office. She could have carried the huge suitcases herself, but the personnel insisted on delivering them to her doorstep.
She could not do anything but accept the help.
However, she drew the line at allowing them to enter into her space, indicating that the suitcases were on rollers. She had purchased them to pack her belongings at the Campbell house for this reason.
While she was strong, everyone would notice something wrong if she lifted a suitcase she could fit into with ease. So, she always acted weak as appropriate. The security understood her reservations and left after she said she would call if she had difficulties.
After they left, she dragged the suitcases straight to the laundry room. She did not plan to wash them herself. She had the contact information for the cleaning service her grandparents hired to prepare the house when she first moved. She would have them handle it later.
