Everyone sat around the big table for dinner.
"Mrs. Cheng you have raised a fine daughter." Mr. Xu praised her.
"Thank you!" She said with a proud smile.
"I am so happy that our families can come together like this." Mrs. Cheng said.
"And we all owe it you ladies." Mrs. Jiang said.
"In most families the daughters-in-law never gets along with their mothers-in-law, but you guys are the priceless gems of our families." Mrs. Hu added.
"I am happy to see everyone getting along well." Mr. Jiang said and they all toasted to that.
"Daddy, I don't you to feed me." Jiang Chao said.
"Who do you want to feed you?" Jiang Cheng asked his son.
"I want Uncle Xu." Jiang Chao said pointing at Xu Kai.
"Come!" Xu Kai called him to come over.
Jiang Chao rushed to his feet and sprinted to where Xu Kai was seated. Whenever Jiang Chao saw Xu Kai, he would not want to leave his side. Everyone watched as Jiang Chao rushed to Xu Kai and let out a laughter.
"He is going to be the best father." Su Li teased Cheng Xiao in her ears.
"Su Li!" Cheng Xiao said with a blush on her face.
With how the things were with Xu Kai right now, she would not be shocked if she were to be proclaimed to be pregnant next week. Everyone chatted while they ate, when dinner was finished deserts were brought out for everyone to enjoy.
After two hours Mr. Cheng and Mrs. Cheng excused themselves. Cheng Xiao followed them to the door and hugged her mother.
"You have found yourself a wonderful family." Her mother said in the hug.
"Thank you!" Cheng Xiao said.
"But I still want my grandchildren." Her mother added.
"Not again, finish the ones you already have." Cheng Xiao whined.
"Okay, I will not push. Go back inside." Her mother said and pulled away from the hug and got into the care.
"Take care of yourself." Her father said and started the car.
Cheng Xiao watched her parents leave; she had been worried that her mother would not be comfortable if she saw how wealthy the Xu family were. She would be worried if the Xu family would accept Cheng Xiao and give her the respect.
Cheng Xiao walked back inside after seeing her parents off, at the same time Hu Yiting's and Jiang Cheng's parents were leaving as well. Xu Mingyu helped his pregnant wife up the stairs to go and rest. Hu Yiting and Shen Mu left as well as Jiang Cheng and Su Li.
"We'll be sleeping here today." Xu Kai told Cheng Xiao.
"Okay!" Cheng Xiao said with a nod.
Once they were in the room Xu Kai wrapped his arm around her waist and started kissing her neck.
"Xu Kai what are you doing?" Cheng Xiao asked.
"Did my mother say she wants a grandchild?" Xu Kai asked her, turning her to face him.
"But this is your family house." Cheng Xiao said in between a moan.
"And?" Xu Kai asked.
"They will hear." Cheng Xiao said.
"It will be fine." Xu Kai said and lifted her.
