It was the day they had all agreed to have a family day. The Xu family decided to host them, it was the Xu family, Hu family, Shen Mu's parents, Cheng Xiao's parents. The ladies were seated together while the mothers sat together and the father on their own, the husbands on their own as well but they were mostly talking about business.
Jiang Chao, Su Li's son was with the mothers as Jiang Cheng bragged to the women about her grandchild.
"I think I will die before I get to hold my grandchild." Hu Yiting's mother said dramatically wiping away an imaginary tear.
"I think you are right on that." Xu Kai's mother agreed.
"I agree as well." Cheng Xiao's mother said as well.
"Well, isn't that a lie mother?" Cheng Xioa asked appearing behind them.
"How is that a lie?" Her mother asked.
"I believe my elder sister has given you so many grandchildren." Cheng Xiao answered back.
"Well, what about you, don't you see your poor mother-in-law's heart is breaking." Cheng Xiao's mother said pointing at Xu Kai's mother who put on a pitiful face.
"Well, we can take care on that right mother." Xu Kai said appearing behind Cheng Xiao and wrapped an arm around her.
"Who asked for your opinion?" Cheng Xiao asked removing his arm away and left with a red face.
"Why did you go there?" Su Li asked when Cheng Xiao came back to her seat.
"I wanted to check on my mother." Cheng Xiao replied.
"In the moment when they are discussing about their grandchildren?" Xu Xiaoli questioned.
"My mother-in-law is urging me for a daughter." Su Li said.
"Mine just wants one, she doesn't care about the gender as long as it a grandchild she is getting." Shen Mu said.
"With this pregnant I am sure you are carrying twins." Xu Xiyu said rubbing her sister-in-law's swollen stomach.
"Triplets!" She replied.
"Wow!" The women around her said at same time in astonishment.
"I hope my brother is taking care of you." Xu Xiaoli said.
"After all triplets is a lot and risky too." She added.
"He is the absolute best. Cheng Xiao, I forgot to welcome you into the family." Lu Meng said.
Lu Meng was Xu Mingyu's wife, they had gotten married a year ago and she was already expecting their first child but, in her case, it was their first three babies. Lu Meng was happy from the support she was getting from her in laws.
"You see, once my daughter-in-law gives birth, I will have three grandchildren all at once." She bragged.
