"Unfortunately, it's not very luxurious, but the temple doesn't expect many important guests," Kana said, spreading her arms when I finished looking around.
"Considering the conditions I've had to sleep in, this is a luxurious mansion," I said with a smirk, dismissing her words.
"That's good," nodded the kunoichi. "Breakfast is at eight in the morning. I'll send someone to show you to the dining hall." Turning around, she was about to leave.
"Wait," I called after her, and in response to her questioning raised eyebrow, I pointed to a chair. "Sit down, I'll fix your face up a bit, otherwise my sense of beauty is crying bloody tears."
Jonin froze for a moment, but without a word, she landed her fifth point on the indicated spot. Lifting her head slightly by the chin, I gently turned it first to one side, then to the other, examining the external damage and imagining her face in its original form.
Nodding to myself, I set to work. I don't know who inflicted the wounds, but despite the rather serious damage, all respiratory functions were restored perfectly, unlike her appearance.
I suppose she was patched up after the fight or even during it, without worrying about aesthetics, so it didn't take long to remove the scars and mend her nose. Ten minutes later, I was admiring a very pretty, snub-nosed face with a sprinkling of freckles.
"All done," I said, taking a small mirror from my inside pocket and handing it to the kunoichi.
Opening her eyes, which she had closed when I started working, the girl brought them together and slowly took the mirror, examining her face.
In general, the fact that she didn't ask my clones to take care of the ugly scar and didn't even hint at it, even though for any woman the face means a lot, perfectly shows Kunoichi's character as a person. Actually, that's why I decided to help her. Well, and for my own mental health.
"It's even better than it was," Kana sighed, handing the mirror back and standing up to bow deeply. "Thank you for your help, Nara-dono."
At the end, her steady voice trembled, showing the importance of what had happened.
"You're welcome," I nodded with a smile. "Such a nice girl shouldn't have such an ugly scar."
Straightening up, Jonin took a deep breath, mechanically running her hand over her smooth cheek and wishing me sweet dreams, then quickly left the room. Closing the door behind her, I took off my cloak and, seeing that the fabric had already tightened around my elbow, sighed and pulled off Jonin's vest.
I took out a sewing kit and sat down on the bed to sew up the hole in my elbow, which hadn't gone anywhere. Unfortunately, there was no corresponding restoration seal on it. I would have to deal with that later, but for now, I needed to tidy myself up, because unlike my other clothes, I hadn't brought a second vest.
