"This is the Herrscher of Sentience."
In the principal's office of St. Freya Academy, after Fu Hua brought the Herrscher of Sentience over, Kiana, Mei, and the others immediately crowded around, curious. Unlike Kiana and Mei, who were still just Herrscher vessels, this was a genuine Herrscher.
"Hello, everyone. I am the Herrscher of Sentience. You can call me Little Sentience." The Herrscher of Sentience greeted everyone with a smile. Although she possessed Fu Hua's fifty thousand years of memories, memories were just memories and wouldn't make her another Fu Hua. For the Herrscher of Sentience now, she was like a child who had just been born, full of curiosity about the world.
"You're so different from Class Monitor. Hi, I'm Kiana." Kiana was the first to step forward and introduce herself.
"I know. Kiana, Raiden Mei, Bronya. Don't worry, I'll take care of you from now on. If Otto dares to cause trouble, I'll teach him a lesson." With Fu Hua's memories, the Herrscher of Sentience naturally knew about Otto's goals.
"To welcome Little Sentience, let's have a banquet today—an outdoor barbecue!"
"Kiana, you're a bit slow. Bronya, Bronie, nice coordination."
In the vast underground space beneath the dormitory of St. Freya Academy, the Herrscher of Sentience was fighting alone against Kiana, Mei, the twin sisters, and others. Weapons like swords, spears, and staffs were wielded with ease in her hands.
After settling down at St. Freya Academy, the Herrscher of Sentience became a sparring partner for Kiana and the others, while also guiding them in practicing the Taixu Sword Qi.
This underground space was created by Daniel Davis using spiritual energy. It was spacious enough to accommodate battles between Fu Hua and the Herrscher of Sentience to a certain extent, and there was also a prepared spiritual hot spring nearby.
Aside from sparring, the Herrscher of Sentience loved to stay close to Fu Hua or take her out to buy clothes. In terms of fashion, Fu Hua and the Herrscher of Sentience were quite different. Occasionally, she also joined the Valkyries in their missions to combat the Honkai.
"Chen Tianwu and Anna. What a pity. It seems they won't become Herrschers anytime soon, so I can leave for a while."
Aside from the Herrscher of Sentience, the Herrschers Daniel knew of were World Serpent's Night Owl, Chen Tianwu, and Schicksal's Valkyrie, Anna Shariac. These two were originally in love, but fate played a cruel joke, and they both ended up becoming Herrschers.
He hadn't mentioned their situation before, so now he wasn't sure how to bring it up. As a result, he decided to monitor them for the time being.
"Let's go, Mebius."
"You're finally here. I was starting to get impatient."
After making his decision, Daniel immediately went to World Serpent to find Mebius. She had already prepared everything. Mebius's current body was made of soul steel, as Kevin wouldn't find someone to transfer her consciousness into.
"So this is another world. Indeed, there's no Honkai energy here."
In the world of One Piece, Mebius, upon arriving, felt the surroundings and her expression became complex. Even she had been striving to fight against the Honkai.
"The Devil Fruits I gave you before come from this world." Daniel briefly explained the major forces and situation of the One Piece world to Mebius.
"No one knows exactly how Devil Fruits are created. Some say they come from the Devil Fruit Tree, but they could also be technological creations."
After all, it was highly unlikely that the Devil Fruit Tree existed in Laugh Tale.
"What an interesting world."
After listening, Mebius's face lit up with excitement. She didn't care about the conflicts between humans in the One Piece world. She had seen plenty of that in the Previous Era, having once been part of the Serpent's Venom within the Fire Moths.
"The Navy? Garp is actually coming here? This is quite a surprise."
After bringing Mebius to Wano Country, Daniel was surprised to find a familiar warship docked at the port. The distinctive dog-head figurehead immediately told him who it was.
If it were any other Navy ship, Daniel wouldn't have been so surprised. With Wano Country now open, many forces had arrived, and Wano had also taken in some foreign residents.
During the twenty-plus years of Kurozumi Orochi's rule, Wano's population had drastically declined. Although the population would recover in a decade or two after opening up, Daniel didn't want to wait that long.
Wano's local culture was too distinct, especially the samurai ethos. Although under his suppression, samurai no longer had any privileges, they still formed a significant force. It was impossible for him to kill them all, so he had to rely on foreign populations to dilute the influence of those seeking special privileges.
"This is my lab. You can familiarize yourself with it here. Once I handle some matters, I'll introduce you to the others." Due to Garp's unexpected arrival, Daniel didn't immediately take Mebius to meet Esdeath and the others.
"Inviting Wano to join the World Government, recognizing the legitimacy of the Four Emperors, inviting the Four Emperors to join the World Government—is the World Government getting desperate?"
Before meeting Garp, Daniel first met with Esdeath, Chelsea, and the others to get an overview of the current situation on the seas.
Overall, the seas had entered a brief period of peace. The battles between the Revolutionary Army and the World Government, as well as the Navy, had temporarily ceased.
The reason for the ceasefire was simple: the World Government was about to hold its World Government Affiliate Nations Conference, a routine meeting held every four years. Even in such times, the World Government couldn't cancel the conference. In fact, the more critical the situation, the more necessary it was to hold it.
For the World Government, affiliate nations were crucial. Without a large number of affiliate nations, there wouldn't be enough tribute to support the Celestial Dragons, fund the Navy, and pay the World Government's officials.
As for the Revolutionary Army, their rapid expansion had led to internal issues that needed addressing. In fact, some within the Revolutionary Army had suggested holding a world conference similar to the World Government's, but Dragon, Sabo, and other high-ranking officials had rejected the idea.
The Revolutionary Army would hold a world conference, but not here. It would be on the Red Line, and this consolidation was also preparation for the next step: attacking the Red Line.
Strictly speaking, the seas were now truly divided into three powers: the World Government, the Revolutionary Army, and the Four Emperors of the New World.
"The World Government has quite the plan. But treating everyone else like fools—isn't that a bit too arrogant?"
The World Government had always considered itself superior, as if allowing others to join was a favor. For some, it might indeed be a favor, as the World Government guaranteed the rulers' interests. But for the Four Emperors, it was nothing more than a joke.
"Vice Admiral Garp, inviting Wano to join the World Government is a brilliant idea. But I want to know one thing: if Wano joins the World Government, how will the tribute be calculated? Let me make one thing clear: Wano won't pay a single berry in tribute."
Asking him to pay tribute was a joke. He was even considering robbing the tribute. Due to the ongoing war with the Revolutionary Army, the World Government had temporarily collected tribute twice, and both times it was stolen—officially by the Revolutionary Army, of course.
"So, you're refusing?" Garp looked much older than before, which was understandable. A few years ago, no one could have imagined the Navy would fall to such a state.
Sengoku looked even older, but to maintain his dignity, he had to dye his hair black.
"How can you call it a refusal? We're just negotiating terms. If the World Government agrees to these conditions, joining isn't out of the question." With that, Daniel placed a document in front of Garp.
"You might as well just refuse." Even Garp's expression changed slightly upon seeing the conditions.
"That's not necessarily true. Perhaps those five old men will agree to my conditions. Oh, and these conditions are non-negotiable. It's either accept or reject. Well, Vice Admiral Garp, I won't see you out."
With that, Daniel stood up and left. He didn't know what to say about Garp, Sengoku, and the others. Despite the current situation, they were still fighting for the World Government.
With the Celestial Dragons' atrocities exposed, Garp's title of "Hero" was now in quotes. In the eyes of many, he had earned that title by saving the Celestial Dragons.
"Those five old men would have to be insane to agree to those conditions." Back in the garden, Chelsea commented.
"I never expected them to agree. I just wanted to appear greedy."
Among the conditions, not paying a single berry in tribute was something the World Government would never agree to. If they did, the World Government would essentially cease to exist, as other affiliate nations would surely protest if word got out.
"Although the World Government is currently at a disadvantage, it's speculated that they possess one of the three Ancient Weapons, Uranus. If pushed to the brink, they will definitely use it. That's why Dragon has slowed the offensive, looking for an opportunity to launch a surprise attack on the Red Line and execute a decapitation strike."
No matter how powerful a weapon is, it requires someone to wield it.
"Don't worry. Although I don't know what Uranus is, I've already made arrangements. Come, let me introduce you to someone."
"The World Government Conference is about to begin, which means Im will appear. I'll leave the rest to you."
In the mirror dimension above Mary Geoise on the Red Line, Daniel left a shadow clone behind and opened a portal to leave.
Since he didn't know exactly when Im would appear, even though the World Government Conference was still a month and a half away, Daniel decided to act early. This was one of his prepared plans: to have the shadow clone monitor the situation.
Once Im appeared, he would immediately pull them into the mirror dimension. At that point, no matter what Uranus was, it would be rendered useless.
"You're quite comfortable here. Have you found this world's Soul Society?"
On the top floor of Whole Cake Island, home of the Big Mom Pirates, Daniel looked at the relaxed Aizen with some amusement. Just like in the Seireitei, Aizen had taken control of Whole Cake Island using his Kyoka Suigetsu.
Out of curiosity for the Soru Soru no Mi, Aizen's first stop was here. Using Kyoka Suigetsu, he had taken control of the entire Big Mom Pirates and was using Charlotte Linlin for experiments.
"Not yet. Either this world doesn't have a Soul Society, or I haven't found the key to it."
"Keep at it, then."
"Don't worry, I have plenty of time, don't I?"
"That's true."
Aizen's ambitions were undoubtedly vast, but for Daniel, this was a good thing. Whether he succeeded or failed, it worked in Daniel's favor.
If he succeeded, Daniel could see what this world's Soul Society was like. If he failed, it would keep Aizen occupied and prevent him from causing trouble elsewhere.
"Luffy, as expected, he's the only one who doesn't care about the Navy or the Revolutionary Army. I wonder if he'll go after Doflamingo next."
Reading about Luffy's exploits on Fish-Man Island in the newspaper, Daniel couldn't help but laugh. Luffy was a pure soul. He only wanted to become the Pirate King. As for the Celestial Dragons and the World Government, if he encountered them, he'd get involved. If not, he wouldn't bother.
"Yui." Seeing the little girl with long black hair emerge from the cultivation pod, Asuna immediately rushed over and hugged her.
"Mommy." Little Yui waved her arms excitedly.
In the world of Sword Art Online, after leaving the One Piece world, Daniel came here to transfer Yui's core into a combat doll body.
"Yui, come and eat something."
"Is this really okay?" Asuna looked at Daniel in surprise. She never expected Yui to have such capabilities. Previously, Yui could only eat within the game.
"Of course, it's no problem."
"This is delicious."
"This tastes awful." After some testing, it was confirmed that Yui had all the emotions of a human.
"Great! Now we can take Yui out to eat. Thank you." Asuna kissed Daniel on the cheek.
"If you really want to thank me, that's not enough."
"Ignoring you. Yui, let Mommy help you change." Daniel's words made Asuna blush, and she quickly picked up Yui and hurried away.
"I won't let you off this time."
"You're quite clingy. It's time to continue exploring."
After spending several days with Asuna, Daniel was reluctant to leave, but he eventually steeled himself and bid her farewell. Returning to the Marvel world, he found nothing major happening, so he decided to continue his explorations.
"A modern city. But I didn't expect such a world to have slums like this."
In a new world, standing on a six-story, dilapidated building, Daniel looked at the clean, orderly buildings in the distance and couldn't help but feel a bit speechless. He then activated his Observation Haki.
"This city is moving? Huh, I've been detected."
As his Observation Haki spread, Daniel was stunned to find that the city beneath his feet was moving. This was truly astonishing. But what surprised him even more was that his Observation Haki had been detected by someone.
"It seems I need to be more careful in new worlds. I can't be so reckless." This discovery made Daniel reflect. No one liked being probed without reason, and he was no exception.
"Huh, are those beastmen?" Jumping down from the dilapidated building onto the equally run-down streets, Daniel was once again stunned by the crowd of people—or rather, beastmen—moving about.
