Chapter 384 - INIIDF-Chapter 363 Within The Body Part 2

Onigumo had no choice but to follow behind, furious beyond belief, desperate to cut down this mocking pirate, but no matter what he did, his sword technique couldn't break through the wall of hair-blades.

This helplessness...

It was a feeling he had inflicted upon so many pirates, and now, it was his turn to receive it.

Onigumo's heart sank into despair.

This Chopper D. Giorno, this demonic pirate was clearly using Onigumo's own specialty to humiliate him.

Clang!

Suddenly, the seven hair-wielded blades struck simultaneously, entangling Onigumo's sword, completely locking it in place.

"Your heart is already in chaos, Vice Admiral," The pirate stopped walking, glanced back slightly with a composed smile, "Against someone trained in Observation Haki, the more restless your heart, the more you're doomed to fail."

"...?!?" Onigumo clenched his teeth and growled: "I don't need a pirate to teach me how to fight!"

Whiz,

Liam raised his hand.

Gasps erupted from the crowd as a metal rod flew from a distance and snapped into his hand with a pa!

Liam swung it.

Boom!

A surge of black lightning-like energy burst forth, with one strike, Onigumo was launched away, blood spraying through the air for several meters.

Gion, her face pale, suddenly felt her strength drain. She staggered, about to collapse.

Robin seized the moment, stepped in close, reversed her grip on her sword, and slammed the hilt into Gion's chest and stomach.

Boom!

The female Marine swordmaster was sent flying, spinning wildly through the air. She flew dozens of meters before crashing into a crumbling wall with a loud bang.

Robin exhaled lightly and stood upright.

Meanwhile, Onigumo, sent flying by Liam's blow, flipped through the air and crashed into a group of Marines, flattening them as he fell.

"Vice Admiral Onigumo!"

"Vice Admiral!"

The Marines rushed over, flipping him onto his back, only to find him covered in blood, eyes rolled back, seemingly unconscious.

Back on the battlefield, Liam tossed the black iron rod in his hand a few times and muttered: "Looks like it was necessary."

Kajiki, no one knew when he'd arrived, was now leaping to Liam's side, his face filled with rage. Blood poured from a stab wound on his right chest.

He gripped a blood-soaked sword, its blade wrapped in black Armament Haki.

"Pirate! Prepare to die!" Kajiki roared, about to strike down,

But suddenly, a string of faint pupupupupupu sounds echoed from his body...

"Heh… heh…"

Blood trickled from the corners of Kajiki's mouth. His eyes were blank. He looked down, seven swords had pierced through his arms, legs, and torso.

Liam probably thought… I wouldn't enjoy fighting by borrowing his power too often…

Shua, shua, shua,

The female Marine's sword spun with flair in Robin's hand.

'What a considerate idiot.' Robin glanced at the black battle armor pressed close against the hand gripping her sword.

The moment she wore Liam's Stand, his power surged into her body,

Endless. Constant. Flowing.

It felt like there was no distance left between them at all. As if he now existed inside her…

And she actually liked that feeling.

Robin maintained a blank expression behind the "Jolyne mask" on her face. Since she was still wearing the Stand, she didn't want Liam to notice her soft emotions when he eventually deactivated it. If that guy found out, she was sure he'd tease her endlessly…

Whiz,

Robin casually flung the sword aside.

Back on the remote beach, the headless female Marine, after severing her own neck, now reversed her grip on the longsword and slowly stabbed it into her chest.

The blade emerged from her back, yet no blood flowed.

Her headless body dissolved with the wind into a flurry of scattered flower petals,

Which drifted away across the undulating waves.

Thump-thump!

From where she was hanging in the broken wall, Gion's pupils shrank suddenly, her heart cramping in pain.

Ding!

A breeze rushed past her ear, followed by the shrill ring of vibrating steel, like it had been poured into her ear from across the sky.

Turning her head, she saw it, a gleaming sword embedded in the wall, brushing her cheek, reflecting back her own pale, disheveled appearance.

Liam's wild black hair whipped about like countless black snakes. Within arm's reach, Rear Admiral Kajiki of Marine Headquarters was skewered by seven swords, suspended in midair, completely immobilized.

Beads of blood rolled down the black blades.

Still impaled, Kajiki's hands trembled as he tried with all his might to swing his sword slowly toward Liam's head, but the latter didn't even look up at him.

Drip… pat.

A bead of blood slid down a sword and fell into Liam's palm.

"Whoa… that woman was pretty impressive…" Liam murmured, observing how he couldn't control the iron-rich blood with magnetism. He simply closed his fist, not really bothered by it.

The time he'd spent developing the Magnet-Magnet Fruit, even counting the days he'd used it as a Log Pose, probably didn't add up to more than a few hours total.

Compared to its previous user, that so-called Princess who could manipulate blood,

It made sense that he couldn't do it yet.

He raised his hand slightly. From nearby came a cry of pain, Kajiki's suspended body lifted higher, still impaled by seven swords.

"You damn bastard… how vile can you be?!" Kajiki cursed loudly, wobbling in the air, furious.

Liam closed his hand into a fist, Kajiki immediately screamed louder.

The hilts and tips of the swords inside him had turned under magnetic force, flattening and clamping onto his body like steel brackets, binding him in midair like a twisted iron frame.

Liam casually flicked his hand.

Whiz,

The ranting Kajiki was flung away with a shriek,

BOOM!

He crashed directly into the unconscious Vice Admiral Onigumo.

The surrounding Marines panicked once more as their superior officers tumbled together in a heap.

Liam clapped his hands. His long black hair neatly gathered and tucked itself into a bundle.

He patted his body, looking for a hair tie or something to keep it together. Finding nothing, he strolled back to Robin, glanced at the female Marine still dangling from the wall and asked casually: "So… where should we go eat?"

Robin pulled a hair tie from her backpack and walked behind him, tying up his long hair for him.

She glanced around, the ground was littered with downed Marines. One of them still hung from a wall… And the remaining civilians had already fled to a distance, watching the two of them with quiet fear.

"Let's just leave here first," Robin said. "If we head into the arena where the tournament is being held, we can use our status as Shichibukai, it might save us some trouble."

"Sure," Liam replied indifferently.

Just as the two of them were about to vanish,

"Oh right."

Liam reached into Robin's backpack, rummaged around, and pulled out a bottle of soda.

Then he hurled it far into the crowd.

The people panicked, thinking the pirate had just thrown a bomb.

But as they ducked and scattered, the soda bottle traced a smooth arc… And landed in the little girl's arms.

She stared, mouth wide open in shock, then looked up, to see the scary-but-cool pirate Big Brother making a goofy face at her, pulling down his eyelid, laughing loudly as he hugged the beautiful pirate Big Sister next to him, and with a whoosh, they both vanished from the street.

Meanwhile, far out at sea, having already left the resort island, on the Sun Pirates' ship, the Human-Human Fruit–empowered mermaid Arlong was in a complete frenzy...
