If you don't already, just start hating yourself. I'm just kidding, but everyone knows that to have dicipline is akin to hating yourself. Yup that's right. Want to please God, discipline yourself. It's actually not that hard, unless you're trying to be like Noah or Enoch or Samuel or King David. If you are trying to be like these God loved men then good luck cause I'm not one of them. However, I can say that I at least please God enough to where I'm not and hopefully won't be suffering his wrath. First thing to do: be humble. Mhmm God loves humble people. Quickest way to be humbled is to be arrogant in the sight of God. Yup if you can't humble yourself, God WILL humble you, and it won't be pretty… trust me. Let's look at king Nebuchadnezzar. Babylonian King who ruled over Babylon sometime ago. Arrogant man who esteemed himself great and mighty after God delivered countries under his reign. This man did not give God credit and instead boasted in his feats and accomplishments. Therefore, God humbled him by removing his understanding, thus making him like a beast roaming the earth on all fours. That's right, there is a reason why Jesus(God) is called King of kings. That is to say, if you want to get on God's good side humble yourself. Alright, what else can you do to please God? It's simple really, be like GOD. As crazy as it sounds, God wants us to be like him. That is to say, being holy, loving, just, forgiving and non compromising. That means don't change God's word to make someone feel better. So to wrap it up, if you want to please God, be like God.
