An unfavorable situation I find myself in. To think that not knowing their language would cause me such harmful threats and distain. Considering how those strangers approached me, I highly doubt that they will be satisfied with the outcome of our confrontation [ I thought ].
Having lived alone for all these years, it never did occur to me that communicating held such importance. After all, creatures in the wastelands were not what you would refer to as communicative.
However, being faced with this situation it dawned on me to think more about why I was alone in the first place. I mean, who would abandon a new born child for no reason.
There isn't time for such ideal thinking though, I must hurry to decide how to deal with those strangers if they do decide to seek revenge on me. At the moment, I could only see two choices. It was either I immediately leave the town of Brogue or, wait and confront my foes.

Pondering upon this decision, the enemy were making their move in search of revenge. The time was nigh that they bestowed punishment upon those that have wronged them.
[ Stranger 1 ]
Camish {addressing stranger 2}
Do you think that kid might have left town already.
[ Camish ]
No! If he did, the boys patrolling the gates would have already informed us. Forget that, shouldn't you also be out searching for him. We're the only one's who know what he actually looks like, meanwhile the boys are just looking out for any suspicious outsiders. Now get going.... Santos {now addressing stranger 1}.
[ Santos ]
Right....

Camish having lost his arm to me held a grudge so deep that, he would later on risk the life's of his fellow mates just to enact his revenge. Even before joining the "assassin guild" his reputation was known throughout the black market for his shameful deeds.
The Assassin Guild! Previously, Santos had suggested to camish whether to report this incident to the boss of which he refused that thought. The boss known as "Jackeil" was has ruthless and merciless as they come. Leading the assassin guild, they accept jobs of all kinds and not once have they failed to finish a job.
After careful thinking and consideration, I arrived at a conclusion that it was best to live the town for now. That is at least until the commotion dies down [ I thought ].
Up until now, I had no place to call home so abandoned buildings was where I lodged for the time being. [ This would allow those after me to catch on much quicker than expected ].
However, since my lack of communication was the sole reason why I ended up with this circumstance, I decided to use this opportunity to learn their language [ I thought ].
With the help of *ability absorbtion* I was able to gain the abilities of the monster's I killed. Though, there was no guarantee that it would work on humans and that I would acquire their language skills as well. As a matter of fact, this opportunity that granted itself was more of an experiment to see if it would actually work.

Centuries have passed since humans experimented and tried to communicate the monster tongue with no effective avail. However in some cases, magic users who have dedicated their time and research to learning the monster tongue, were able to understand their gestures just like how I am able to. Though, not a single person is been known to be able to effectively communicate with monsters and it is said that no one ever will.
[ Meanwhile the enemy was plotting my demise, I was oblivious to their actions and schemes as it was just me speculating the outcome of our encounter ]. **I would soon come to regret that thought**
My goal was always to live town before stirring up trouble anymore than I already have, however granted that the enemy reaches me before I do, I would not hesitate to defend myself and also test out my theory. {They would meet their end if we ever cross parts again}
It was finally time for me to depart from the town of Brogue. At the break of dawn, I made my way to the gates of the town. Short as it may have been, wandering to this town opened my eyes to a much bigger world beyond that which I was aware of.
Just as I reached the outskirts of the town, a strange feeling of uneasiness struck me as I sensed hostility approaching. Stopping to scope out my surroundings, to my surprise were quite a number of people coming out from the woods. Leading them was one of the humans I had trouble with. {Referring to Santos}.
[ Santos ]
So we meet again...
Did you really think you could leave town without repercussions for your actions.
[******]
[ Santos ]
Yet again you decide not to reply do you...
Not matter, after all you won't have any need to speak anymore when we're done with you. Get him boys...
They all rushed me together in an attempt to kill me {about twenty of them in total}. I was ready to kill if the situation called for it, however this was different as I was not facing monstrous creatures. Reluctant to kill them, I hesitated for a second and they got the jump on me.
This time they avoided any direct physical contact while using weapons to rush me, and it was effective as I was sent flying from several hits with a steel bat.
Bleeding on the ground, I activated the skill "Piercing Blood" which took out two to five of their men. It seemed as though they were incapable of using any magic, so they resulted to swamping and beating me to death.
It all came to an abrupt stand still as I managed to kill half of them during our scuffle. However, I was at a disadvantage and having to use "piercing blood" consistently drained almost all my stamina.
Panting for breath I was when "Santos" approached me. Gazing down at me with a smug look on his face, he uttered "Nighty night young man".
{Knocking me out cold}
