Chapter 116 - Participants (2)

Horo discovered all the participating powers in the kingdom through introductions and conversations. Alma couldn't tag everyone because there were things she and Horo didn't know.

He met a descendant of Ashenheim from the City of Ashenheim.

A disciple of one of the four seasons from the Four Seasons City.

A Black Wind disciple from the Valley.

A native of the lands of Nineveh.

And more.

Horo was thrilled to learn more about these places and powers he had only read or heard about from word of mouth.

Most of the people in the hall either knew of or knew each other before this meeting.

They were all prodigies, which was to be expected. In fact, Horo even knew a few faces from the times he left the palace on missions or spar meetings.

His master wanted him to meet many people from other powers in the kingdom and spar with as many as he could. She knew he didn't have much experience battling other people, according to what he told her, and she didn't want him to be surprised by the unique powers wielded by those in Azure Moon Kingdom.

In fact, he had been to the lands of Nineveh and loved it. The people were so kind and friendly, and they were very protective of their land and culture. Yet, they weren't selfish either; they just didn't want any negativity or harm being brought to their home.

The only place he didn't visit or even get near was the Crimson region, for obvious reasons. He wasn't strong enough to be found out by them yet. If anyone who knew of Himora knew that her twin brother was still alive, they would swiftly try to nip a future problem in the bud.

Horo pretty much got along with everyone, although he and Hendrix shot each other hateful glares here and there.

Horo's disposition and aura kept nearly everyone's attention on him, and from what he could see with his special eyes, most of the interactions he had with everyone was genuine.

After mingling for hours everyone began departing, except for those who made deeper connections with each other like Ash, Horo and Erza.

They stayed much longer than a lot of the others as they continued to learn more about each other.

As Horo asked questions he learned from Ash that Valen's children, all became students of the most prestigious academy for national guards aspirants, the New Torch Academy in Ceres City.

This didn't surprise Horo at all, because he's the reason that they have the talent and capabilities to enter such a place.

He remember what he had told Valen before departing from him.

"I'm definitely going to make that a priority after achieving the strength to accomplish my goals. Also I bestowed your children gifts, don't ask me what or how, just witness them grow beyond what you could have ever imagined." (Ch. 61)

The "Gifts" that he left them was far from ordinary, and part of those gifts were inheritance seeds that would awaken step by step in order to not break their wills with the unbearable pain that usually came with fully awakened inheritance seeds.

Horo smiled hearing that even Theodore had made it while only being four years old.

He learned that Valen had applied for special programs only offered by the New Torch Academy.

Victoria and Benjamin were dubbed Prodigal Son and Prodigal Daughter through the True Prodigy Program, while Theodore had become the first Blessed Child in Century.

There's usually only one blessed child at a time, but there has been cases of multiple at once, that was in the old times. As of late there hasn't been even one blessed child to enter the guards in a few generations.

Horo also learned that his generation, the current one, has been dubbed another prosperous generation by diviners for years before their birth.

He wondered if his arrival into this reality had anything to do with it. He wasn't certain of that thought but he was sure that he is the reason at least five from this "Prosperous Generation" will be more than prosperous , nearly unmatched.

Him, Himora, Theodore, Benjamin and Victoria.
