Chapter 4384 - 4384

Chapter 4384: So Much to Eat

The existence of the Desolation Path is highly concealed. Most Full Completion experts know of its existence, but very few can actually find it.

Some have tried to uncover the secrets of the Desolation Path, but none have found an answer.

In Little Peng's bloodline memories, he only knew the Desolation Path existed he didn't know why.

Based on observations of Chaos Child's internal world, Lin Moyu guessed the appearance of the Desolation Path was intricately linked to chaos.

Under Little Tree's guiding radiance, the Desolation Path revealed itself. It was a bizarre road hidden in a spatial crevice, infused not only with space but also with the power of time and many other ancient, chaotic forces.

These forces wove into blades, forming tremendous destructive power that even Full Completion experts had to tread carefully carelessness would mean injury or even death.

The entrance to the Desolation Path wasn't very large, even a bit small seen from afar, it was less than a meter in diameter.

Creatures of chaos and Ancient Desolation are often over a million meters long or larger, and seemingly couldn't get in. Even the Calamity Crossing Boat was far bigger than the entrance.

Yet as the boat approached, space started stretching, folding, warping the boat seemed to shrink, while the portal expanded.

No matter how large a creature, the Desolation Path could accommodate it.

The Calamity Crossing Boat slipped smoothly into the path; suddenly the space surrounding them became dreamy and illusory, filled with myriad colored lights.

Immediately, there came a clanging from outside the boat, as if a thousand objects were striking it enough to make it tremble without pause.

As the boat's master, Lin Moyu could clearly feel the force of the impacts.

The commotion didn't seem that great, but each blow nearly matched the force of Ancient Desolation Divine Light.

A Great Completion chaos cultivator couldn't withstand even a few strikes only Full Completion experts with domain power or top tier defensive treasures could hope to hold out.

Inside the Desolation Path, a mysterious power pulled the Calamity Crossing Boat all the way to the end, with no way out midway.

That meant once you entered, you reached the end though it wasn't clear whether you'd be dead or alive.

The ringing became intermittent and unpredictable without any pattern.

Lin Moyu observed the Desolation Path closely, hoping to find some secret but after a long study, he gained nothing.

Chaos Child remarked, "Master, there really aren't any secrets here."

"Why do you say so?" Lin Moyu asked.

"I don't know, it's just how I feel."

His memory was still incomplete; much of what he knew was just a vague sense, but those senses were usually right.

Little Tree, rarely, agreed, "He's right there's nothing secret in the Desolation Path. I can't say why, but that's just the feeling."

That was surprising Little Tree was in much the same position, with its memory sealed.

If both said it, it must be true.

The Desolation Path was saturated with temporal power, which seeped everywhere, mingling with space into spacetime force that made Lin Moyu lose all sense of the passage of time.

Even though he was already very familiar with spacetime power, it still affected him.

Sometimes it seemed short, sometimes endless until suddenly the scene outside shifted, the blackness of Ancient Desolation thickened, and the dreamlike streaks rapidly faded.

The clanging stopped. The Calamity Crossing Boat had left the Desolation Path.

Once out, Lin Moyu's sense of time recovered. After a quick calculation, he estimated they'd spent about a year inside, which had felt only like a brief moment.

Chaos Child hovered around Lin Moyu, sensing the location of the special place.

Little Tree's roots once again pierced Ancient Desolation, searching for another Desolation Path.

Soon, Chaos Child locked in on a new direction; the last trip along the Desolation Path had saved them at least a thousand years.

Not long after, Little Tree found another Desolation Path, and the boat set off again.

Time after time, using Desolation Paths, they cut what could have been a journey of thousands or tens of thousands of years down to just a few decades.

Lin Moyu noticed every path was different some long, some short, some narrow, some spacious, sharply varied in danger level.

The last path was so perilous even the Calamity Crossing Boat felt pressure; under such circumstances, even Full Completion experts would struggle.

Emerging from this latest Desolation Path, Lin Moyu walked into a scene of mountains of corpses and seas of blood.

Countless chunks of flesh and thick blood floated through the chaos of Ancient Desolation these were once the remains of experts who'd entered the Desolation Paths, now shredded into fragments and ejected at the end to gather here.

There was no telling how many bodies or experts there were bone and flesh all mingled together, and all had once reached Full Completion.

Absolutely deadly!

Even Lin Moyu, who had seen death often, felt chills at this sight.

But immediately, delight rose in his chest such a bounty of expert corpses was an unimaginable treasure to him.

But problems loomed: so many shreds and scattered flesh were hard to distinguish.

Their vital power hadn't fully dissipated, and piled together, they formed a danger zone of their own.

Even approaching in the Calamity Crossing Boat, the vessel was buffeted by continual shockwaves; without the boat, Lin Moyu could never have endured.

How to separate these shreds and claim them was one issue; how to acquire it safely was another.

Also, some corpses belonged to chaos creatures these, having achieved Full Completion through domain force, couldn't become reborn minions, or that would attract the attention of "Dao."

Others, though, were Ancient Desolation creatures different from chaos creatures, they didn't rely on domain force and could achieve Full Completion on their own.

These, presumably, could be reborn as minions.

How to tell the difference was another challenge.

While pondering these issues, Chaos Child shouted in excitement, "Wow, so much to eat!"

Lin Moyu was taken aback, "So much to eat?"

"Yeah, these were all Full Completion experts. The Desolation Path shredded them and turned them to pulp we can eat it, me and Little Tree, to boost our power."

Amazed, Lin Moyu turned to Little Tree. "Is that true?"

Little Tree nodded, "The power in their blood and flesh hasn't dispersed it can be used as nourishment."

Lin Moyu marveled, "Never saw you two do this before?"

Little Tree explained, "Only works on Chaos Full Completion level. The weak ones are too full of impurities."

Chaos Child said, "Flesh shredded by the Desolation Path has all impurities and willpower erased it's the best."

So these two were just picky eaters they'd never touch anything less than the best.

Lin Moyu said, "Alright, eat as you wish just leave me a share."

Chaos Child giggled, "Then we won't hold back!"

Little Tree's roots trembled in anticipation.
