When he finished listening quietly, joy lit the beast's gaze. In a low voice he said, "Back then, my Lord gave me the task of guarding this domain until it had a master.
"I thought it could take countless years, perhaps never happen but I could not disobey. Without the Lord I could never have attained transcendence."
"I did not expect the domain to have a master so soon. Thank you, Lin Dao‑friend!"
The Discernment Beast took the form of an old man and bowed to him.
"You're too courteous," Lin Moyu said. "Whenever you decide to leave, I'll send you."
"There are a few youngsters I'd like to say goodbye to first," the beast replied, "tell them I'm going."
"If any of them wish to follow you away, you can take them," said Lin Moyu. "I have no objection."
The Discernment Beast said, "I have nothing else to give in thanks only this art."
Lin Moyu, for his part, had given the beast the greatest freedom possible; in his eyes, it was deserved.
After taking his leave, he had only one matter left.
As domain lord, for the first time he would exercise that right fully.
In a step, he entered the Origin Return Land.
There, the Great Daos lay some surging, some still.
Most of the Eternals had no special connection to him, but one in particular he felt he should handle, to close the karmic loop.
His eyes fixed on the Great Dao of Destiny. Its master now lay dormant within it reincarnated, but unable to return this time.
Fate was strange: the Lord of Destiny could glimpse the fates of others through the Destiny Dao, but not his own.
He had taken the last step toward becoming the first cultivator of the Five Domain World to transcend… and met a powerful chaos being. His path was broken, he returned gravely wounded.
Lin Moyu had personally sent him into reincarnation, taking his karma upon himself.
Now, as domain lord, he could try to fish him out of the cycle save him tens of thousands of years.
Locking onto him, Lin Moyu shouted, "In my name, by the true spirit as the guide return!"
The Destiny Dao roared to life, the whole Origin Return Land shook.
One after another, phantoms appeared along the Great Daos; several Eternals materialized, bowing respectfully to him.
He merely acknowledged them with a hum and continued his work. They dared not interrupt, only watched.
Soon they understood he was pulling someone from reincarnation! Even they had never dared think of such a thing.
The Destiny Dao boiled, and at last a true spirit, wrapped in the domain's power, slowly emerged the Lord of Destiny's true spirit. With that, all else was easy.

"To see the domain lord do this, truly an eye‑opener…" they murmured, both surprised and yet not a strange mix.
Fishing someone out of reincarnation was to go against heaven. Immediately, the domain's rules moved, lightning clouds gathering to throw the transgressor back into the cycle.

Lin Moyu's word struck like a heavenly edict the threat vanished on the spot.
The domain lord was the true master of this domain, and its rules served him.

The soul was scattered through heaven and earth but with the true spirit, no matter how far, it could be retrieved.

The soul re‑formed quickly, then took shape; next was the body.
The body was even simpler for powerful cultivators, the soul was paramount, the body trivial, reshaped at will.

What should have taken countless reincarnations and long cultivation to restore was done in half a day under his direction the Lord of Destiny returning to his Dao.

"It's hardly a rescue," Lin Moyu replied. "Just lending a hand. You've just recovered cultivate a while and you can return to the half‑step chaos stage, and then transcend again."
At the words "transcend again," a flicker of fear showed in the man's eyes the last attempt had damaged his Dao Heart.
"The one outside the domain has been slain," Lin Moyu reassured him. "You needn't worry nor should any of you."
"If you can transcend, I will not hinder you. Where I can help, I will.
"It's just that the domain's power can at most now sustain two more transcendents. When it grows stronger, transcendence will be easier. If you're not in a hurry, you can wait."
He spoke the plain truth the stronger the domain, the easier to transcend.
The Five Domain World had had flaws; now mended, it would slowly become strong but that was tied to his own strength. Only if he grew stronger would the domain advance in kind.

Suddenly the Origin Return Land shook again; thunder rolled across the domain.
Lin Moyu looked up, murmuring in surprise, "The Human Emperor is transcending… yes, by the timing, it's about right."
