Huo Jingrui put on his military cap and saluted the commander: "Commander, could I get a few more days off?"
With an eager expression that Commander Du couldn't bear to look at, he waved his hand and said, "Three days, no more. It's almost New Year's, don't you want to go home and spend it with your family?"
Huo Jingrui had accumulated quite a bit of leave, but there was too much going on now, and he couldn't let this kid slack off.
Huo Jingrui didn't insist further. Some leave was better than none. After saying goodbye, he turned around and ran out.
He didn't go home directly. Instead, he went to the office to get a change of clothes and took a bath in the bathhouse before running home.
He was afraid that the smell on him would be unbearable for his pregnant wife.
Yunyi and Yuan Zining hadn't been at the entrance to the base for long before they saw Huo Jingrui running out.
Just as Yunyi reached Huo Jingrui, she noticed his hair was frozen: "You took a shower?"
