Chapter One Hundred Ninety-Two:
Inside Haimon's Spirit World
Haimon and I walking hold hands while Rishna and Navina are in front of us. We are moving towards the red light and as we get closer to the presence of that light it gradually grows. And for some reason, my heart races as we get closer until I felt Haimon squeezes my hand that I looked to him.
"I know how you feel." He spoke. "But remember I'm only here for you."
I smile and answered. "Thank you." Then I take a deep breath. "It turned out to be nervous, because I would finally get to know the real Manu."
"You were right, it's kind of nervous. Knowing that we finally see and meet the one with kindness and mercy, and I really do hope that this will be the end."
I squeeze his hand and smile and spoke. "This will be the end. After we safe Manu's soul everything will live in peace and harmony."
…
"Is that…" I can't believe what we saw when we finally got close to Manu's soul.
He was like a baby in his arrangement and he floated freely in emptiness. And he looks really young, those in his teens. I seemed to be fascinated by what I saw and I wanted to see him up close so I stepped forward to see him well but Rishna immediately stopped me.
"Don't come near him." She firmly said.
"Why?"
"Because a shield protected him that only a virgin could see." She said that made me curious because I couldn't see anything.
"What do you mean?" Suddenly Haimon asked.
"A special barrier that protects him from affecting your spirit, Haimon," she explained. "And when it is simply destroyed, your life will be disrupted because there will be two spirits in one body which will result in your death."
Now that I heard it, that's just the fear I felt for Haimon. "Then, what should I do now?"
"Wait here until I get Manu's soul." She said and was about to step in through the shield when suddenly she fainted.
"Rishna!" Haimon and I immediately went to her side.
"What did you do?" Haimon immediately asked Navina while I keep holding Rishna.
"Honestly, I don't know what I'm doing. Is it because of what someone said who wants to be selfish or because this is also what I want to happen? I really don't know." She said as she laughs to herself.
"Navina?" I said while looking at her in confused.
Navina finally stops laughing then she takes a deep breath before she answered. "Now I think I already know why I chose this. Much has been lost to me, my family, my friends, my mother, my faithful right hand and my hometown and it's all because of the evil and merciless Manu. I thought then, I will just stay alone for the rest of my life until Siara saves me and I also found out from her that she saved my Aunt with her. I was so happy because I found out and even if we were put to sleep until the time came for us to wake up, which was enough for me because I knew I would wake up that I knew I would still be with someone forever. Fun that I thought was really lasting but it wasn't because of an event that was absolutely unavoidable." She stops and sighs heavily. "So what good is it if I can live but I will lose the last person I love? That is why I decided, I will sacrifice myself to her place."
"But, the only one can take Manu's soul is a Maiden." I answered.
"Yes, and luckily, I am a Maiden."
Haimon and I were surprised by what she said and she didn't wait for any more words from us and she immediately went to Manu's place.
…
Outside Manu's Spirit World
At the Dock
"Galdur, what happened to Khawar and Ansel?" Sai curiously asked him when God Nayak and Ozul brought their fight at the dock and there Wafi, Netro and she find Galdur alone with the sailor through the gates of hell.
"Khawar was gone after kidnaping Haimon." He simply answered as if it was nothing.
"What?!" They all surprisingly answered together.
"You heard it right." He replied. "While, Ansel was finally returned as a God," he added.
No one answered after what Galdur said. But not God Nayak that suddenly came to their side.
"Is it true what I heard? Is God Folkvar finally comes back?" He excitedly asked.
"Aren't you excited?"
"Of course, I am excited! So, is that—Ouch!" They were all surprised when suddenly someone slapped God's arm so hard. "What the he--"
"End it and you'll be dead!" In a low tone but in a very dangerous with full of fierce look in her eyes, Sai is definitely furious and serious right now.
"O-Okay!" God Nayak answered before returning to his fight against Ozul that is already at the edge of his insanity.
"Is Sai really like that?" Galdur whispered to Wafi.
"Well, this is the first time I saw her like that oh, well earlier she looks like that too. But I think that is her character."
"Oh, well! I think God Nayak will like her more." Galdur said almost to himself.
"What did you just say?" Wafi heard it but Galdur just smirk at him and didn't say a word anymore. "The hell!"
"Shut up you two!" Suddenly Sai shouted and all they can do is to keep quiet and watch the battle as it was about to end.
…
Hell Palace
Khawar screamed in more pain as Goddess Vive keeps getting stronger and tougher as their fight goes on.
"How long will you be tired, Khawar?"
"You damn bitch!" He shouted.
"Surrender now and accept your punishment."
"Nooo! Never!"
"Then, you will just lose. Because Manu's soul will return again as we speak."
"What!"
"You heard it clearly."
"No! Then, I don't have a choice." He smirks.
