Lian Xinying was curious why he had been following her all the way, so she planned to go over and ask clearly.

That man was reluctant to stop but had no choice but to halt.

He hung his head, unwilling to make eye contact with Lian Xinying.
"Who are you? Why are you following me?" Lian Xinying looked him over and realized she didn't know him.
The man remained silent, unwilling to answer.
Lian Xinying's expression turned colder: "Who sent you to stalk me?"
"It's not stalking, it's protection." The man had to explain when he saw she misunderstood.
Lian Xinying's furrowed brow relaxed upon hearing the word 'protection'.
"Who sent you to protect me?"
