Zhuang Yuezhou returned to the apartment, opened the door, and immediately smelled the strong scent of tobacco filling the room.
His brow furrowed as he turned his head to look towards the balcony, where he saw Qiao Jingchen smoking.
"Oh, looks like your biological mother doesn't acknowledge you. You've become a heavy smoker now, huh?" Zhuang Yuezhou teased as he spoke.
Qiao Jingchen remained motionless, as if Zhuang Yuezhou's words were meant for someone else.
How annoying. Talking to him feels like a one-man show when he doesn't respond.
Zhuang Yuezhou walked over anyway and glanced at Qiao Jingchen's face, which was full of gloom and despair. "Looks like you're really down. Alright, you continue to wallow here. I'm leaving."
With that, he stood up.
Qiao Jingchen still remained silent.
Zhuang Yuezhou was lost for words again. "What's going on here? Why aren't you talking to me? I'm speaking to you."
