Chapter 3 - THE BEGINNING CH-2

Hashirama POV

Konohagakure, a village hidden in the leaves, was at the close of the Warring States period.

During one of our conversations, Mito shared with me the ancient prophecy: one concerning the eventual downfall of the Uzumaki clan and the immense, looming threat over Whirlpool Country. Though the Uzumaki had the power to protect themselves, the main family had cut off all communication, outright refusing the help offered by the Senju and even the Uchiha clans.

This situation is a major headache for the safety of the Land of Fire. The Uzumaki clan's sealing arts are crucial for maintaining world peace, especially since every major hidden village desperately desires their Fūinjutsu powers to control the Tailed Beasts I distributed. Now, with the prophecy of a child—one said to possess the powers of the gods—it is not an exaggeration to say this development will absolutely ignite the First Great Shinobi War.

Hashirama: "Tobirama, where are you?"

Tobirama POV

Hearing my older brother's familiar cry, I entered the Hokage's office and found him, as usual, moping at his desk. Upon seeing me, he immediately launched into a frantic babbling session about the Uzumaki prophecy and the clan's imminent fall. 'Is he drunk this early in the morning?'

Tobirama: "Stop moping, Big Brother."

Hashirama: "How can you tell me not to mope when a war is practically knocking on our door?"

Tobirama: "Despite the obvious readiness for war, the Uzumaki are more than capable of handling their own problems—it's the child prophecy that presents the true complication. To ensure the safety of that child, I will personally travel to the Land of Whirlpools and bring the child home to Konoha."

Third Person POV

Years later, following the end of the First Great Shinobi War, Tobirama successfully engaged the Uzumaki leadership. He discovered the truth behind the prophecy and the grim, inevitable fate of the clan. Some Uzumaki, seeking survival, had already left the land for the safety of Konoha, while others had dispersed to different nations.

After Hashirama's passing, Tobirama took the mantle of Hokage and continued his research into ways to save the prophesied child. His reign was tragically short, and like his brother, he sacrificed his life for the village. But before his death, he passed the story of the prophecy to his grand-niece, Tsunade, and his students, embedding it in their minds like a bedtime story.

Tsunade never forgot her grandfather, grandmother, and grand-uncle's words, and she spent time and resources diligently looking after the affairs of the Land of Whirlpools.

The inevitable came. A massive, destructive war broke out in Whirlpool Country. Thousands of innocent Uzumaki were slaughtered, some managed to flee, and then came the night of a great crimson-red moon, followed by a cataclysmic storm. The storm's end ushered in an even greater chaos: the entire Land of Whirlpools had seemingly vanished, sinking beneath the ocean waves. The Third Hokage, Hiruzen, searched the sea but failed to find anything. The island nation had simply disappeared.

Decades later, after the end of the Third Great Shinobi War, the sunken land suddenly began to re-emerge from the sea. A monstrous storm raged, as if the world itself were ending. The crimson-red moon returned, casting a blood-like sheen on the ocean. Where a village once stood, a primaeval forest now flourished, as if the land existed in a different dimension.

The density of the Chakra within this newly emerged land was comparable to all the Tailed Beasts combined. A scouting team from the Hidden Mist Village attempted to enter but failed. Soon after this impossible event, peace was finally brokered between the Five Great Villages, and the war was over.

Rimuru POV

Observing this world from my Imaginary Space, it is quite an interesting place. There is a huge, cute, chubby Tailed Beast that everyone fears. (They fear big, fluffy pets? Kufufu, it almost reminds me of Ranga.) This world has endured nearly three World Wars. Even Ciel is confused by the turn of events, as if they were manipulated by outside forces.

We even detected two of those outsiders—two Otsutsuki—who were causing havoc on the day of my birth. Ciel was immediately enraged by their presence. She used Ultimate Skill: Void God Azathoth on them and subsequently teleported the entire Land of Whirlpools into my Imaginary Space.

Although her angry face was frightening, I did feel a little bad for the Otsutsuki, as their souls were sent to Ultima to be 'played' with. The true mystery of this land is that the very earth where I was born is composed of the deceased body of the former God of this verse. Now, his essence is inside me for Ciel to play with, and a cheap copy of his dead body is now in the forest. Well, it was Ciel's suggestion to do it.

[Can't ruin the future plot by explaining this all now.]

The newly emerged forest is full of gigantic, talking slugs and snakes. The most interesting part is my new power, called Chakra. I can naturally control all five Chakra Natures, along with the Kekkei Genkai, Kekkei Tōta, and Yin-Yang Release. Ciel, however, suggested limiting my power usage to avoid immediate unwanted attention. So, for now, we have decided to only use my clan abilities along with Ice, Storm, and Lava Releases.

Ciel POV

Master continues to play with his new abilities in the forest, slowly gaining control over his vast power. I finally checked on the outside world's status: the Fourth Hokage is dead. His child, Naruto Uzumaki, has been born with half of the Nine-Tails, Kurama, sealed inside his body. Things are about to get interesting.

After 4 years

Ciel: "Master, you shall now exit the forest. I sense some shinobi approaching the border."

Rimuru: "Are you sure it's the right time?"

Ciel: "Yes, Master. The stage is set."

Rimuru: "Fufufu, then let the fun begin."
