Synopsis: Despite Gwen's victory, its not over yet as now Hou steps up to the plate. Along the way, Gwen wants to.....
In the previous story, the intruders arrive and the knights confront them. Ranma challenges Hou Ren to a fight but Gwen steps to the plate. Shiloh also steps up and once again, Gwen is victorious. So thus, the young king steps up to fight her.
Anime Opening: Knock On Your Gate
From the top of the Arena to the scenery of the Arena where two groups confront one another. The young king holds out his deck. Feeling calmly stern as he looks at his deck with his own eyes.
Hou Ren: To think it's finally my turn to fight. Why did things become like this? Must I really endure once again?
Gwen: Hou....I don't want to fight. But if this is the only way then I will. As your childhood friend, I will help regain your senses.
Hou Ren: By all means...
Gwen: Purge evil, purify the unclean. Luminize! Wisteria Heavenly Light!
Hou Ren: A deity dragon's brigade expects the unexpected and strikes back. Come On. Luminize, Dradeity...Exspecta.
All: Buddy...Fight.
Both: Raise the flag.
Gwen: Katana World.
Hou Ren: Dragon World.
Gwen: Wait what?
Hou Ren: Did you honestly think I'm gonna use my Dragon Ein Deck? I know you guys have planned strategies, so I decided to switch things up a bit. And my hunch is correct.
Gwen & Ranma: (Thought, surprised) He saw right through us. (Thought)
Gwen: Regardless. I will win. Draw. Charge and Draw. Komaichi to the center.
Komaichi: (Summoned) To fight or not to fight.
Gwen: Equip, Kagura Emblem of Selfless Worship. Komaichi, attack the fighter.
Hou Ren's Life: 10 -> 8
Gwen: My turn is over.
Blaze: Make us Proud Bro.
Elijah: You got this, Ace of Games.
Hou Ren: Draw. Charge & Draw. Equip.....
Hou Ren equips a new sword. A gold sword with blue glowing linings around it...
Hou Ren: Deity Dragon Sword, Garblade.....Exspecta.
Lost Ren: (Curiosity Piqued) That sword.....
Garga: That's right. It's the same sword I gave him earlier.
Hou Ren: Garga. I owe you one. To the right, Garcat "Exspecta".
Garcat's new form also include blue glowing linings around his body. Lightning bolts appear around him.
Garcat: Oh yeah, It feels good to be me, cat.
Hou: (Ability) When placed, I gain 1 gauge & draw a card. Gardog Exspecta to the left.
Gardog's new form also include blue glowing linings and two small cannons attached beside him.
Gardog: You howl, I answer dog.
Hou: (Ability) I gain 2 gauge with it's effect. And I move Garga from my deck to my hand. In exchange, I discard a card from my hand. Now I cast, Deity Dragon Tribe's Banquet. I gain 2 life & 2 gauge. Garcat. Destroy Komachi.
Garcat: (Summons a blue crystal saber) Yes Sir. (Attacks)
Komachi is out.
Hou: Follow Him, Gardog. Attack Gwen.
Gardog: Yes Sir. (Shoots with it's cannons)
Gwen's Life: 9 -> 7
Hou: (Attacks) And here I thought you'd be summoning Amaterasu. Guess your luck is running out.
Gwen: Hardly. I cast. Art of Body Replacement. (Blocks)
Hou: Tch. My turn is over.
Ranma: (Confused) That's Odd. If I know Hou well, he would've summon Garga.
Daryl: Just wait Ranma. The real turn begins now. I've been there.
Eden: Yes. I too agree.
Gwen: Draw. Charge & Draw. Hou...You know...you are someone...unique. You've always get back up after falling down. You've always reached out your hand again and again. And That's something I admire about you.
But Hou remains unfazed and silent.
Gwen: But now...you've changed. You've become a monster. Why?
Blaze: (Angry) What did she say?
Hou: Blaze Ren. Don't.
Blaze: (surprised) But...
Hou: No Buts. Let her speak.
Blaze: Ack...
Gwen: I'm want to say sorry.
Hou: Hmm?
Gwen: It's because of me & your friends, you've become like this. We've left you in the dirt. And the moment you left, it made us realized that. I'm deeply sorry.
Hou: Forgiveness isn't something earned easily.
Gwen: What?
Hou: Let me let ask you this, what took you so long to realize your mistake? How can I even trust you and your friends at this point? Do you expect me to forgive you that easily after everything?
Gwen: Well no but...
As Hou makes his statement, Shiloh is worried.
Hou: Enough. (Forehead shadow) I had to go through a lot of trouble just to prove my worth everyday. But even when I kept going, there are others who held me down. I begged. I hoped. I cried for help so many times. But for what?
Shiloh: (worried) Hou...
Hou: But at the same time, I blamed myself for it. I've let my fear get the best of me. I was so greedy on proving my worth, that I've discarded what matters along the way. I've lost everything because of it. Including you, Garga.
Garga: (Surprised) My Buddy...
Hou: (Nods) Do I really have to prove myself so badly just to fit in with others? Even when they don't appreciate it? Yes. And that's the worst mistake I've ever done. (Taps his chest) I've realized that I shouldn't live for people's approval. I want to live for myself. Nothing more, Nothing Less.
All of the knights are surprised & Hou's Aura glows blue and he reopens his eyes. They glow blue and he ruthlessly bangs his board. The sound went off with a bang so loud that it frightens everyone but Lost Ren.
Hou: I will not commit the same mistake again. You can say all you want, Gwen but it doesn't change the fact that you're a despicable liar. You. Are. Poison.
Gwen: {Heartbroken} I...
Tasuku: (Thought, in worry) So that's what Agent meant by his "Tipping Point"...
Ranma: (Thought, in worry) Hou...
Gwen looks at her former friend with fear and worry. But slowly, she becomes determined.
Gwen: (Thought) I will save you. (Thought) Micott to the right. Electrobeast Emissary, Kouki to the left.
Both Monsters are summoned.
Gwen: Kouki's effect adds an Electrodeity monster from my dropzone to my hand. And I choose you. (Adds Amaterasu) I need your help. Lend me your strength. Let's bring Hou to the light.
Amaterasu glows and appears in full form & posses her.
Gwen: If that's your wish, Gwen, I shall fully comply. My ability activates. (Draws) Another 10000 power & critical + 1 to our forces. Micott. Attack Garcat.
Micott: Right. (Attacks)
Garcat: (Panics) Ahhh...Hou, a little help!!!
Hou: I got you hold on. I cast. Dragon Guard. (Brace himself) I take on the attack.
All: What?
Hou takes on the attack.
Hou: (Smirks) Now you've done it. GARCAT.
Garcat: You dealt damage to Hou Ren. (Charges lightning towards his claws) You'll pay for that.
Hou: The one on the far left.
As Hou's request, Garcat shoots lightning towards Gwen & her hand cards, discarding one and striking her with lightning all at once as she yells.
Ranma: AMATERASU!!!
Gwen's Life: 7 -> 6
Light: How did He...
Daryl: It's How Hou beat us.
Eden: When he takes damage, he strikes back. Garcat not just dealt damage but also removes one of Gwen's cards at will.
Hou Ren: If I have any regrets, is that I should have dealt with you sooner. Gardog!!!
Gardog jumps up and shoots out lightning from his paws. The lightning hit Gwen's Two Gauge and destroys them.
Amaterasu: MY GAUGE!!!
Hou: Save some for me.
Hou stabs the ground and lightning arises from the sword and electrocutes Amaterasu from below.
Amaterasu: AHHHH.
Gwen's Life: 6 -> 4
Amaterasu: (grabs chest in desperate) Argh...This is wrong...You're not like this. You never fight like this.
Hou Ren: Sadly for you. All things were crossed the moment you stepped in. Are you done or not?
Amaterasu: Micott...Attack Garcat once again.
Garcat is defeated.
Garcat: I failed....(Destroyed)
Hou Ren & Garga: Garcat!!!!
Kouki proceeds to attack Gardog.
Hou Ren: I cast. Dragosucceed. Sorry Gardog.
Gardog: You better win. Good Luck. (Destroyed)
Hou's Life: 6 -> 8
Eden: He destroyed his own ally.
Amaterasu: My turn. (Attacks)
Hou's Life: 8 -> 4
Agent: (Shocked) Uh Oh...
Shiloh: Oh No.....
All of the knights are shocked.
Amaterasu: This will end you. (Shoots)
Hou: I cast, Exspecta's Resilience. (Pays 2 gauge & 1 hand card) If I have taken at least 5 damage, during this battle, I gain 25000 defense.
Amaterasu: WHAT?
Hou's lightning sparks around him, and he charges his right hand and strikes the opponent back with lightning from his bare hands. Luckily, no damage, but Amaterasu can't pass through as the lightning is blocking her.
Hou: You think just because you evolved, you're a match for me? (shakes head) Tch Tch Tch.
After the lightning stops, Hou moves forward and grabs her by the shirt up high. Amaterasu, who's quite wounded, looks at Hou's menacing eyes dyingly.
Hou: You see. You only trained yourself for a week.....(points at himself) while I trained for over a month.....You never stood a chance.
Hou Ren singlehandedly swings Amaterasu back, making her fall to the ground.
Amaterasu: Ahhhh...Ough.
Hou: I've seen how you play many times, even during the fight with Shiloh. You may have defeated her, but you won't defeat me. You got that, Capiche?
Amaterasu: I...
Hou: And speaking of her, Shiloh lost, but at least she showed a brighter resolve than you. She learned, she planned, and showed great promise. You, on the other hand, I see nothing but lies.
Shiloh: (Warmed) Hou...
Meanwhile, inside her own body while being possessed, Gwen, in spirit form, witnesses what he said in fear.
Amaterasu: (taps her chest) That's not true. And I should know, Hou. Because Gwen...has a crush on you.
Hou: What?
All knights: WHAT?
Trickstar: She doesn't have a crush on him. Lost Ren, tell me she's lying.
Lost Ren: Of course she is...is what I would say. Unfortunately, she's telling the truth.
Amaterasu: The moment you left us, my buddy also suddenly had feelings for you. She confessed how she actually felt, and that's what caused me to evolve.
Ranma: It's true. All of us, well, minus Tasuku, Hou's parents, and Eden, saw it with our own eyes. And because of it, I lost to her.
Rockstar: You beat Ranma?
Light: All of your friends felt guilty during the fight. Your victory against Ms Shafi opened their eyes. Why else would they come here? It's because they finally accept you.
Amaterasu: And my buddy loves you greatly because you are more than just who you are. I believe in that, too, because when you saved Shiloh earlier, you proved us all correct.
Hou's Father: What you did back there really made us proud. I'm happy to call you my son.
Tasuku and everyone else nod in agreement in smiles. Hou Ren, however, remains shadowed.
Hou Ren: What a joke. Open your eyes!!!
Everyone feels surprised.
Hou Ren: Quit lying to me. A crush on me? I'm your son? Are you saying that if I don't save Shiloh's life, then I'm none of those things? Are you also saying that if I don't defeat Ms. Shafi, then I'm a fraud?
Amaterasu: N-No, I...
Hou Ren: (Slams the board) True. I saved Shiloh's life. But I didn't do it just to gain your approval. I did it for myself and because I care for her. Don't expect me to be that same pathetic man you once knew.
Shiloh & Garga: (Worry) Hou...
Amaterasu: (close her eyes, determined) I see... if words can't reach you (Holds out a card) then this will. I cast. Electrodeity Festival. This allows me to attack again.
Everyone's surprised.
Amaterasu: (Creates one last attack) You, who have been tormented with the pains of the past. May the deities and it's power purify & cleanse your impurified soul. (Fires) Ha.
The last attack is really massive, and its shape resembles a giant yellow energy ball. Everyone watches the attack doing its thing while Hou looks at it unfazed. The attack hits, and massive amounts of smoke come out. Everyone's surprised.
Ranma: Gwen....did it...
Daryl: Incredible...
Unfortunately, to their surprise, while the smoke slowly clears, all of a sudden, bright and giant wings came out of nowhere. It shines so bright that it blinds everyone's eyes.
Hou: (Echo) Who says my soul is impurified? You should know that I don't fall so easily... Amaterasu.
Shiloh slowly opens her eyes and realizes what Hou did. The smoke slowly reveals Hou himself in shades of haze. He continues to look down.
Hou: I'd rather accept myself for who I am. And I would rather be with those who appreciate my worth. This is for those who have my back. (Eyes glow) Witness... MY UNWAVERING LOVE.
All of a sudden, Feathers fly down and swirl around the young king intensely. He feels the power of those feathers. Like he's feeling blessed as he starts to fly up in the air.
Hou Ren's Life: 0 -> 10
All: WHAT?
Ranma: 10 LIFE?
Hou Ren: (Echo) Nobody defeats me...NOT EVEN YOU.
The feathers slowly turn back into the card and softly land on Hou Ren's fingertips. Hou Ren returns to normal. He remembers Shiloh giving him a card. That card was unwavering love. He moves it towards his chest.
Hou: I am forever in your debt. Thank you, Shiloh.
Shiloh: I...(smiles) You never give up, do you?
Hou: (Nods) When my life points hit 0, I can pay 3 gauge and discard one hand card to activate this spell. My life points become 10, and since I have fewer than 3 cards, I draw until I have 6 cards in my hand. (Draws)
Lost Ren: (Thought) Another card I don't recognize...Just how strong have you gotten?
Eden: Hou...Gwen...
Amaterasu: (Despaired) I...It can't be...My turn is over....
Amaterasu released her possessions.
Gwen: How can this be?
Hou: Draw. Charge & Draw. I equip...Fangflare's Anew, Gargasabre Exspecta. (Equips an item on his left hand)
Hou Ren wields and spins them in a kung-fu stance.
Ranma: What?
Light: Two Items?
Hou: (Place Garblade behind him) It's your turn now. I buddycall.
Garga: (Appears) All are powerless before my blade. (To Hou) There's something I must confess. Your attitude towards Gwen & her friends is wrong. But I, too, understand your resentment, for I feel the same way.
Hou: I told you, Garga. I want to live for myself. If I'm basically a liar, then what kind of man am I? I won't deny what you said is true, but as leader of the Draknights, I don't want to be a dishonest man.
Garga: You don't have, but you have a point. I can see that you care deeply for the knights.
Hou: And there's one in particular which I care for most.
Hou smiles then looks at Shiloh herself and thus making her feel blushed. Everyone else also looks at her. Hou then looks back at the fight.
Hou: Calling Garbird Exspecta to the left.
Garbird: Finally, this bird gets to fight.
Hou: Garbird increases all of my cards' power by 5000. And now, I'm about to give you a taste of your own medicine.
Gwen: What do you mean?
Hou turns and walks forward to Shiloh. Everyone feels curious, and Shiloh becomes shocked when he bows and taps his chest.
Hou: I want to apologize on behalf of my actions. But I need...
Shiloh: Wait.
Hou: (looks up) Huh?
Shiloh: (smiles) Do you remember what I said back on our date? I will always accept you for who you are. And I want to be with you no matter what. You don't need to apologize because...
Shiloh slowly grabs Hou's right hand, much to his surprise.
Shiloh: I love you.
Hou: I...(moved) I love you too. (grabs Garblade and passes it to her) Shall we?
Shiloh nods and accepts the sword. The two stand beside each other with their two swords, looking at each other with smiles before turning to Gwen with sheer determination. Everyone's surprised.
Garga: (smiles) Interesting.
Hou: I cast Deity Dragon Tribe's Banquet. (Increase resources & holds a card) Ready?
Shiloh: Yep.
Hou Ren: I cast... Wings.
Shiloh: Of.
Both: Freedom.
Suddenly, their Wings awaken. The wings are incredibly beautiful & radiant, and feathers came out of them. Everyone is very shocked as they fly into the air.
Shiloh's Brothers: WHAAAAAT????? (Going excited on loop)
Kaizer: (Excited) THEY GOT WINGS????
Blaze: (Excited) HOW?
Hou Ren: I don't know why, but this kinda makes me blush.
Shiloh: Same... Race You.
Hou Ren: You're on.
They flap their wings and fly fast while carrying their swords...
Gwen: Amaterasu.
Amaterasu: (possesses) Ability activates.
Shiloh: No Use. Our Power is at 22000 combined.
Amaterasu: WHAT? I forgot...Garbird's ability. Cast, Wisteria Sun Mirror. (Blocks)
Hou Ren: Garga. Garbird. Go.
Both: Right.
Garga launches his swords, and Garbird enhances them with eye lasers.
Amaterasu: Cast. Sol Aurora. (Blocks) Garga cannot stand.
Garga: What?
Suddenly, sharp lotus petals come out of nowhere at high speed and pin him down.
Garga: Drats.
Hou Ren: Don't worry. It's time. I end my turn.
With that said, Amaterasu releases her possession. However, both of their wings glow even brighter. Feathers are swirling around them like crazy. Everyone's surprised.
Gwen: Wha....what's going on...
Shiloh: Wings of freedom. Not only cleans our dropzone...It also gives us an Extra Turn.
Note: This spell requires 3 gauge & 2 life, and can only be cast once per fight.
All: WHAT?
Hou: As I said, a taste of your own medicine. Let's see how you like it now that you can't have Amaterasu possess you anymore.
Gwen: No...
Shiloh: Garga. All yours.
Garga: Got it, Shiloh. (Attacks)
Gwen's Life: 9 -> 6
Hou Ren: Garbird, you're next.
Garbird shoots his lasers and also deals damage. Hou Ren also flaps his wings and attacks with his sword, dealing damage.
Shiloh: This will end you. (Attacks)
Gwen: (Thought) Even if I defend, Hou hasn't G-EVO and will...
Gwen watches in fear as Shiloh flies up high. Her wings are sharp and strong. With a sharp edge of her sword, she flies forward and pierces through Gwen's chest like it's no tomorrow.
Gwen: Ahhhh!!!!!
Gwen's Flag is destroyed. The couple holds hands and raises them high, excitedly.
Hou Ren: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME.
Draknights: ALRIGHT.
Magician: You don't see this every day, do you?
Elijah: I know. Talk about an Epic Comeback.
The two look at each other with cheerful smiles and sparkly eyes. They hug each other as they make their wings disappear.
Hou: You're so comfy.
Shiloh: Hmph, says you.
The two let go and look eye to eye and kiss. Everyone's shocked as they kiss passionately while embracing one another.
Trickstar: (smiles) Okay, yep, they're busy.
Rockstar: They are so in love.
The remaining knights react with smiles. But...
Eden: Wait...
Ranma: You guys--
Gwen: --are dating?
The couple hears their enemies' response and stops to look at them...
Gwen: You...
Hou Ren: What can I say? I found my true love.
Shiloh: What he said.
They both stand and cuddle.
Gwen: I...I see. (In Tears)
Eden is also in tears as she covers her mouth, heartbroken.
??? : It's not over yet.
Everyone then looks at Ranma. He just transformed into his Vile Form. He is more like his old self in the Ace Buddyfighter Playoffs.
Vile Ranma: We still have a score to settle. Old friend.
Hou Ren turns serious again while gently letting Shiloh go.
Hou Ren: Just like old times.
Both face each other, Eye to Eye. Their glares are bright and scary.
