Wars broke out in every country and ended with catastrophic nuclear bombardments. Human beings were nearly driven to extinction, yet they always found ways to survive. The rich built advanced domes to shelter themselves from the cold and radiation, but the poor left their fate to the world. After enduring a prolonged crisis, their bodies began to adapt, and a few humans started experiencing their first mutations. Thus began the era of Winter Doom..
