"You said where?" Lu Xinyi turned her head to look at Xiao Xuyang, wondering if she had heard wrong because of poor hearing.
"My home, the place I am taking you to now is where our family lives." While talking, Xiao Xuyang took out his phone and dialed his mother Situ Xin's number.
Lu Xinyi was still in shock. She had never expected that Xiao Xuyang would directly take her to his home, and not just any apartment outside but his family home.
"Hello, Mom, are you and Dad home? I'm bringing someone back soon."
"Your daughter-in-law. Alright, we'll be there in about twenty minutes." Saying so, Xiao Xuyang hung up the phone.
Lu Xinyi slowly turned her head to look at Xiao Xuyang: "Who did you just call?"
"My mom, your future mother-in-law." Xiao Xuyang seemed unusually happy at this moment. Though he knew he would face his parents' wrath once back home, especially his father's, which sent a chill down his spine even thinking about it.
