"Emerald book an 8 pm to Africa... Xavier will be leaving today " Alex said
"ok I'll do that right away sir" Emma did and immediately booked the flight
Working hours came to an end and Emma prepared to leave she texted Stacy and asked her to wait at the parking lot
"sir working hours have ended... I'm going home" Emma said
"Have you finished your work?" Alex asked

"how far are you in the designs" Alex asked tearing his gaze away from the file on his table and placing it on Emma
"oh I forgot about that" Emma said rushing back to her sit
"seriously Emerald you telling me you forgot you are supposed to submit not one but two designs tomorrow and you dare to say you forgot you really don't know the importance of this competition do you" Alex scolded
"calm down sir... I didn't forget to draw the designs I meant I forgot to submit them and this competition is as important to me as it is to you you own many properties and this is the only means through which I earn my leaving and I'm not stupid enough to make silly mistakes... so can you please stop scolding me and allow me to complete my statement... I've drawn the two designs... Here they are. Can I leave now sir" Emma placed a file on his desk and stormed out of the office
Alex looked at the door dazely he was so speechless... No one has ever raised their voice at him yet this girl...
Emma walked out of the office and went straight to the parking lot where she saw Stacy waiting for her in front of the car
Emma went into her car without saying a word and Stacy understood that she was angry so she immediately followed her into the car
"what's the matter Emma," Stacy asked looking at the angry girl... She took out a bottle of water from her purse and handed it to Emma
"Drink this first ..." Stacy said
Emma took the water and gulped down a surprising amount
"whoa...calm down there Emma... Who on earth made you this angry" Stacy asked
Emma closed the container and looked at Stacy
"what does he think of me huh... Just because he owns the company doesn't mean I'm unserious I get that I can be lazy at times but I've got dreams too and I have to make my mother proud" Emma complained to Stacy in anger

"I was about to leave because working hours have already ended... So he asked me if I was done with my work, I said yes and then he asked me about the designs... I said that I had forgotten and ran back to my chair to get them and I was about to complete my statement but you won't believe that he didn't let me complete it instead he started scolding me saying that I wasn't doing my job properly" Emma explained in fury
