[3rd POV]
Project Webmaster was one of the most important projects that Gwen had, one that would massively boost her power, reach, and most importantly, safety. It would give her the means to directly contend against Knull due to the nature of the project itself.
The entire project relied on getting to Earth 001, aka Loomworld.
Getting there wouldn't be difficult, it was more so the annoying inheritors that could become a problem, as she highly doubted it would be so easy to just walk in. She imagined that they'd have something up their sleeve, something that would give them the chance to fight back.
At the moment she was deep underneath the city, standing in front of the M'Kraan crystal. The crystal was glowing softly as all sorts of fauna and plants surrounded it. She checked on it every other day to make sure nothing was wrong.
Today was not a check up day, but instead, she was making space for another object that she was going to place here. The Web of Life Destiny. The primary object in project Webmaster that would grant her the means to know when Knull breaks out, and a better way to counter him.
She was putting it next to the M'Kraan crystal. She wanted to see if the two of them would interact at all, as they were both closely related to the greater multiverse and the running of it. So she believed they might just strengthen one another, or something of the sort.
Clearing out the area, Gwen smiled.
"I'll be back soon with something new. I hope you won't mind having someone else here" Gwen said to the crystal, knowing that it was sentient to at least a small extent.
Teleporting off, she reappeared in her office in her personal floating island. And as she appeared there, she blinked as the door opened.
"Hmm? Oh hey baby! How was your time traveling?" Gwen asked, realizing that it was M'gann. Her and the other girls had traveled with the recruitment team for a little while, as they wanted to travel a bit. That and they knew that Gwen was pretty busy.
"It was great! We saw all sorts of cool cities, and even one where all the mutants were dinosaurs! They should be settling in now" M'gann said as she pressed a kiss against Gwen's lips, which the woman in question accepted with a smile.
"And where are the others at?" Gwen asked.
"They're putting away the souvenirs they got, and then they plan on cultivating I guess, since we've been really neglecting it. And with you know who eventually coming, we think it's time we start to really focus on growing our power" M'gann said, knowing about Knull and how dangerous he was.
About the fact that he would almost certainly be coming for Gwen.
They had been all cultivating somewhat, but never all that seriously. But now? Now they'd focus all their might on cultivation so they could grow to be able to help her more.
Gwen was also thinking of cultivating more, as she knew that at the peak of cultivation, she'd get a huge boost in power. Especially in terms of Martial Peak, which at its very peak had multiversal level beings and maybe even beyond that.
It's just that cultivating was really really really boring. Like...insanely boring to Gwen. Although she did find the idea of doing an otherworldly quest in one of those worlds to be interesting, as they had a lot of very powerful objects and creatures she could consume.
Soul Land was a particularly appealing universe for that reason. As they had a lot of beasts of immense power that would give her some interesting boosts.
She'd have to wait for that though, as she has more important things to deal with, like getting the Web of Life and Destiny.
"Well, I'll leave you girls to your cultivation. While I have to deal with some pesky life force vampires" Gwen said, as M'gann raised an eyebrow but decided not to question it, as she pecked Gwen on the lips and ran off.
Being alone once again, Gwen leaned back in her chair and sighed.
'Time to take care of the inheritors for good'

Standing in an opening on her floating island, Gwen looked at the assembled group of Spider People. Pretty much everyone was there, prepared to finally end the threat that was the Inheritors.
The cloning facilities on the other world had been destroyed. Silk had finally returned to the group after Peter himself went out to find her, bringing back an alternate universe Uncle Ben at the same time.
Miles and his team were prepared to be reinforcements for when they actually get to Loomworld. But they wanted to recruit as many as they could before they jumped in.
"Is this everyone?" Peter 616 asked, looking around. There were maybe 80 to 90 of them. Each of them were in their suits, prepared. Some of them had upgraded suits that would go a long way, better technology, more durable, better in every way.
The large mecha was also upgraded by quite a lot, being stronger, faster, and more durable thanks to the labs that Gwen had provided for its upgrades.
"It is. Everyone has prepared the best they could. And with the clone facilities destroyed and done, this is the best time to invade loomworld and officially take care of the Inheritors" Gwen said, knowing that another team was also trying to recruit the only member of the Inheritors that had a chance at redemption.
The man known as Karn. He would normally become the Master Weaver, the one who weaves the Web of Life and Destiny. But that might not be the case at this point, not with Gwen existing.
"And you're sure that this is enough?" Silk asked, worried that they're underestimating the power of the Inheritors.
"Trust me, they're strong, but not that strong. And if anything happens, I'll be ready to step in and take care of it myself. And if even I cannot defeat whatever the trump card could be, I'll just teleport everyone back here, where nobody will be able to hurt you" Gwen responded, calming Silk down.
The girl had been told about the power of Gwen, and what she had done, so she knew that Gwen was the most powerful Spider Totem in the group, potentially in the multiverse. Or at the very least, she was very very high up there.
And because of that, Silk could only nod, accepting what she had said.
"And what are we going to do to them? The Inheritors I mean? Are we going for the kill, or are we keeping them alive, just capturing them so we can imprison them somewhere?" One of the Spidermen asked, one that was much more willing to kill than most of them.
"We'll impriso-" "I'll kill them if you aren't willing, so don't worry about it weighing on your conscience or anything. A prison like the one you're thinking of won't work, as they'd eventually find a way out of that world. And before you even say anything, nothing you say or do will stop me, so it's best you just concede to this one, Peter" Gwen said, cutting off Peter 616 before he could say a word.
She had to kill them, it was simply the only thing she could do.
Peter 616 stared at her, not happy, but considering the power she held, and the things she was saying...he could only turn away from her, uncomfortable with this entire thing.
Seeing his reaction, Gwen smiled, as she looked over the large group of heroes, and spoke out loud.
"Well then...lets go beat up some inheritors!"

That's the end of the chapter!
Next chapter is going to be the action filled (somewhat at least, lol) chapter, and will likely be the last inheritor arc.
Anyways, have a good day!
