[3rd POV]
Upgrading the orbital cannons had taken a few hours, but she eventually finished. She ended up improving them with stronger "Rounds" so that now they could obliterate more than just a mere star.
They would be strong enough to wipe out a LOT of symbiotes, once the time came. As there would likely be a lot more symbiotes coming to Earth in the coming days.
She hadn't even found Venom yet, meaning that he would likely be arriving and then everything would begin to happen at a rapid pace. With Carnage and the others coming after him. But first, she'd have to keep an eye on Peter, who was continuing his hero duties.
He had recently had his first clash with Black Cat, with the woman flirting with him like crazy. Although from what she could tell, Peter was more interested in the MJ of this universe. Thankfully the MJ was...actually not a piece of shit like in the comics.
She didn't want to think of a Paul moment happening to him.
More and more heroes continued to appear over the next few months, as Gwen continued her conquest of dimensions, traveled back to Warhammer 40k and started to reform that universe with her clones helping out.
She even had plans to connect the two universes eventually, but only after the Imperium didn't look down upon literally everything that wasn't human. Or at least wouldn't look down upon Inhumans and Mutants, who were both technically humans, just warped and changed.
The Avengers had started to recruit new members over the past few months, with the new members being She Hulk, War Machine, Blue Marvel, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, White Tiger, and a couple of others.
The latter four were in a sub team alongside Cloak and Dagger, and focused more on street level events, primarily the ones in New York, but she had seen them in other cities a few times. She was happy that they were at least thinking about more than just New York, but she knew that they weren't even remotely enough to help deal with crime in other cities.
So, she began to appear in her Ghost Spider form more and more, while her "Shadow" that even now SHIELD couldn't find, was spreading around the country to wipe out things like trafficking rings, cartels, and such. She had taken a break from it, so they had begun to prop up again.
The girls had also begun to do some hero work as they had gotten a bit bored just hanging around the city. So the world was beginning to find itself with more and more protectors. The Avengers, The X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and a whole lot more.
But none of that would matter before Knull.
So she continued to prepare. Sending clones out to other universes, gathering more and more and more objects of power, serums, everything she could possibly use in order to stop the being.
But the most important thing of all, was that she began to work on her own serum. A serum of immense, incredible, insane power.
She would require the blood of various entities of immense might, as well as several objects, but she already had a few of them, including the blood of Galactus, after she managed to make the entity bleed, albeit only a few drops. But it was enough.
Other blood she would need was: Celestial Blood, Watcher Blood, Strontian Blood, and a lot of other blood from various species.
The Celestial Blood was by far the most difficult one to claim, as while they did have blood, it was more...metaphysical, and wasn't something she could just cut out of them. That and they were stronger than Galactus on average, so she had to be very careful how she got it. Which is why she planned on taking the blood of a Celestial in another universe.
She would need to plan that later on though, as for now, she was more focused on conquering dimensions and increasing her power that way. As with each dimension she conquered, her power and energy skyrocketed more and more.
She had already slaughtered and consumed quite a few dimensional lords, none of them as strong as a Hell Lord or Mephisto, but still had power that would be meaningful to her. Amongst these dimensions were: The Dank Dimension, The Purple Dimension, Ikonn, Raggadorr, Realm of Madness, Twelfth Dimension, Balthakk, Krakkan, Dyzakk, Veils of Valtorr, Farallah, and finally the Plane of Watoomb.
A few of them were the ones that Sorcerers called upon for certain spells, so her taking them over had been a bit of a change, as their spells all of a sudden got a lot stronger than before. She continued to let them use the dimension's power, as she got power in return for it, so it was a good trade.
She decided that she was going to conquer one final dimension before stopping for a little while, as she now held more realms and more "Land" than any other dimensional ruler, with not even Dormammu having nearly as much as her. That dimension was the Dream Dimension, which bordered the Astral Plane, and was made from the collective unconsciousness of humanity.
A powerful place of immense psychic power, as it resided within the Dreamtime. Dreamtime was the collective unconscious of ALL sentient beings in the universe. Dreamtime was a lot stronger, a lot larger, and was connected to a LOT of immensely powerful beings, including the Asgardians, Elder Gods, Vishanti, Celestials, and a shit ton more. Basically, Dreamtime was off limits to her...for now.
So instead, she was currently standing over the broken and bruised form of Nightmare, as he snarled at her. Nothing he tried worked on her, as she was immune to fear, to nightmares, to illusions, and most other things that he relied on.
"Foolish girl! You cannot kill me! Everything will fall to ruin! The nightmares of this realm will seep into reality! You will doom everything and everyone!" Nightmare yelled, as she looked down at him.
"Good thing I'm not killing you, but instead absorbing you, consuming you. Just like I did to Mephisto and all the others, the monstrous dimensional rulers" Gwen responded with a simple smile, as she gazed at the entity that was in between the power levels of Mephisto and Dormammu, making him stronger.
But thanks to her absorbing Mephisto and all the others, it wasn't much of a fight.
She didn't let Nightmare let out another word, as her shadows consumed him, absorbing him into herself as she let out a pleased sigh, her mind expanding. Nightmare was well known for being practically Omniscient due to his connection to dreams and nightmares. So her own senses had now expanded to an entirely new height.
As had the power she got from fear. She hadn't really been paying attention to them, but her Green Lantern Ring and Yellow Lantern ring were both as strong in power as their comic counterparts, and realistically, were around as powerful as Hal Jordan for the Green Lantern, and the peak of Yellow Lantern.
Honestly, she was excited to go back to DC in the future, as she would need to gather some things from there. Primarily the embodiments of the emotions, various objects of immense power, and a whole lot more. That, and she missed her Dad and little brother.
She was planning on inviting them over to this universe to stay for a while. Maybe even permanently connect the two universes so that they can cross over whenever they want, that way she can go back and forth from DC and Marvel.
She'd need to wait for that though, as she wasn't sure how the higher entities of the two multiverses would react, especially the Living Tribunal and the Spectre. And she still wasn't even remotely in their class to even bother asking yet.
Finishing her consumption of Nightmare, she breathed out as she looked at the notification in front of her.

Gwen decided to save up her SL tickets for now, as she wanted to get used to her new dimensional power she had obtained, before anything. That and she needed to adapt to these new insane senses of hers, which had expanded a lot more than she was initially expecting.
She was pleased either way.
For now though, she decided to return home, as she had things to plan, objects to steal, and heroes to help.
As she returned home, Gwen blinked as she felt something happen on Earth. A portal opening to it, a portal from another universe. Sensing it, she gazed off into the distance with a raised eyebrow, before blinking as she saw who it was that stepped through the portal.
A small interested smirk appeared on her face, as she gazed at the group, and whispered to herself.
"...How interesting~ So that event has begun, huh? Guess I'll have to get involved, afterall..."
"...I can't let the inheritors touch my universe~"

That's the end of the chapter!
And so begins the next major arc of this fic, a huge arc that is incredibly important to Gwen's progress. The arc that is directly in line with the Spiderverse comic line, with the Inheritors, Morlun, and all the different spidermen. Like Captain Universe Spider-Man, Superior Spider-Man, and all the others.
It's a very important event in the comics, and to Gwen. It's also going to be her first time meeting THE Spiderman, as in, mainline 616 Spiderman. And will be the beginning of her getting involved in multiversal events in this place, and getting involved in the mainline 616 universe.
