Chapter 163 - Chapter 163: Power On & New Weapon

Lois, Jasmine ,Saya, Saeko ,Rei looked at the partially destroyed building in front of them. There was a piece of derby falling to the ground. There were windows broken. A leaky pipe was exposed and water went down.

Saya looked down and could not see the bottom. She looked at James. "Don`t tell," Saya said.

"Yeah you are correct, we are going to jump to the otherside," James responded.

"Why did I even ask," Saya said.

"You did know the answer," Rei remarked.

"It is a long way down," Saeko added as she looked down. "There is no chance you will live if you fall," she added.

"Then don't fall," Lois joked as she walked to the edge.

"Easier said than done," Saya said as she looked down.

James was mid-sentence, "Well, I can." He saw Saeko running.

Saya broke into a sprint, her long strides carrying her across the crumbling room. She launched herself forward and leapt across the gaping chasm between the two buildings.

She seemed to hang in the air before landing cleanly on the far side in a crouch.

"She jumped," Rei said, blinking.

"She's insane," Saya added from across the gap, a grin tugging at the corner of her lips.

Jasmine took her Lasso of Submission. She tied a tight knot at the end. She gave it a testing tug before hurling it across the gap.

The golden rope whipped through the air. Its tip coiled perfectly around a stone pillar on the opposite side. Jasmine grabbed the line and lifted off. She swung gracefully across and landed just behind Saeko. "Tidy landing," she smirked.

James smiled. He thought she was always adventurous. He remembered the first time they met when they jumped through different buildings.

"Well, it is a jumpable distance however to be extra sure," James said. He opened the faceplate. He saw the silhouette of a humanoid dinosaur with a broad chest, muscular arm and legs and a long tail. He thought maybe not the right alien for this occasion. He turned the faceplate and saw the silhouette of a three headed dog. It had two large ears. A single body and a tail. He thought not this one either. He turned the faceplate and saw the silhouette of a man bunny creature. It had a singular horn on its forehead and bunny ears. James thought it should be okay. He slammed down the faceplate.

His body was engulfed in a brilliant, pulsating light. The air crackled with energy. James' body distorted slightly. In a surge of radiant energy, James' features reshaped. His muscles swelled and his limbs thickened as a dense coat of white fur erupted across his skin. His face elongated, bone structure morphed until it resembled something fierce and beastlike, like a rabbit'. A sharp black horn broke through his forehead with a faint metallic hum. The transformation was sealed with a flash of green light emanating from the Ultimatrix symbol on his chest. His eyes were , black. "High Jumper," High Jumper said.

"Cute," Saeko remarked.

Lois walked towards him and touched his white fur. "It is soft," she added.

Rei also walked towards him. She saw the bunny ears and bunny fur. "Very cute," she added.

Saya thought it was adorable.

"Girls," High Jumper remarked as his fur was being touched.

"A bunny can jump," Saya remarked.

"Exactly," High Jumper responded. He grabbed Rei and Saya.

"James," Rei said. She felt his soft fur. It felt nice.

"You Pervert," Saya added. She touched the white fur and thought it was soft and nice to touch.

"Hold on," High Jumper said as he jumped across the gap with ease. He put them down.

High Jumper jumped back. He saw Lois was smiling. "Your turn," he said.

"I have been waiting," Lois responded.

High Jumper smiled. He picked up Lois and two suitcases. He jumped over once again and put them down.

Jasmine walked over and pinched High Jumper`s cheeks. "So adorable," she remarked.

"Jasmine," High Jumper responded.

"Uuuurrrr," a voice was heard.

They all looked ahead and saw several zombies approaching.

Rei and Lois raised their M4W in near-perfect sync.

Their fingers pressed the triggers. A barrage of bullets screamed forward from their guns. The rounds sliced through the air, tearing into the horde ahead.

Zombies were hit in rapid succession. Their skulls split, their shoulders shattered, and their torsos were torn through by the relentless onslaught. The force of impact sent some creatures spinning backward, while others dropped instantly.

Spent shell casings clattered to the floor and smoke hung in the air.

"Looks clear," Lois murmured, lowering her rifle. Rei nodded.

"Let's keep moving," High Jumper said, stepping ahead.

They advanced forward. Their boots crunched over broken tiles.

They turned the corner and entered the abandoned upper floor. There were rows of dust-covered sewing machines. There were some dormant, some toppled, others still upright. There was blood smeared across the tiled floor and workbenches.

Saya saw something on the wall. "Is that what I think it is?" Saya asked.

Saeko looked closely at it. "It looks like the Power Switch," Saeko responded.

They all looked back to see a power switch with a handle on the wall. "Yes that is the Power Switch," High Jumper confirmed as he walked towards the switch. "Does anyone want to turn it on?" he asked.

"You are going to turn it off again," Rei responded. She remembered that happened the last time.

"Not this time," High Jumper responded.

"You can turn it on James," Lois said. The girls all nodded.

High Jumper flipped the switch. There was a jolt of electricity. The building shook for a second.

"Earthquake again?" Saeko asked as she looked to see the lights flickering.

"No, we have just completed the first step of the Easter Egg," High Jumper responded.

"What is the next step?" Jasmine asked as she was inspecting a sewing machine.

High Jumper walked toward a sewing table. He saw the handbrake and picked it. "We are going to build a new weapon," he added.

"Cool," Rei responded. She thought the last weapon was interesting.

High Jumper was towards the side of the sewing room. He saw a zombie coming towards him. High Jumper swung his fist. He punched the zombie in the head. The zombie went flying back and crashed into the wall. Its glowing eyes closed.

"That was some punch," Lois said.

"There are zombies here everywhere," High Jumper said as he saw a Mannequin on the floor and picked it up.

"Why do we need that?" Saya asked.

"It is for the weapon," High Jumper responded.

"What are we building?" Saya whispered to herself.

"Let's go there," High Jumper said. The girls nodded. They moved their way through the sewing machine room.

Saeko looked at his bunny ears and thought she wanted to stroke it.

Rei saw his chest. It was white and furry and muscular. Saya looked at his bottom and saw it was toned.

Jasmine wondered whether he would like a carrot.

"What are you girls thinking about?" Lois said. She could see they all were staring at him.

"Nothing," they all said in unison. Lois gigged.

High Jumper looked behind and sighed. He wondered what that was about.

They walked down the stairs where they saw an ammunition cartridge on the barrell. "That is something we are going to need," he said.

"Let me grab it," Jasmine said as she picked up the ammunition cartridge.

High Jumper and the girls saw a workbench with blueprints scattered on the wall. "A bench like last time," Rei commented, inspecting the plans.

Saya walked forward and saw the gun. "It looks like some sort of gun," she said.

High Jumper put his parts down. Jasmine put the part she picked up. Then High Jumper saw a cage next to the bench. He looked down and saw the air tank. He grabbed and picked it up and put it on the workbench.

At that moment, the Ultimatrix symbol went red. There was a bright red light and James emerged.

Then there was another bright light. The girls looked away immediately. "The light," Jasmine said.

"Everytime," Saeko said.

There was the sound of crafting, sawing and then it all stopped. He walked over and saw the weapon.

James picked it up. He looked to see a gun with a cylindrical fuel canister mounted on the main frame. It had reinforced hoses connecting to the chamber. The front nozzle was wide. The entire rig was held together with heavy-duty fasteners and metallic shielding. The trigger system appeared robust to manage recoil and dispersion. It was a raw mechanical design.

"What is that?" Jasmine asked.

"It is the Sliquifier," James responded.
