The Blackhawk helicopter soared through the skies, its rotors sliced through the wind as it carried its passengers.
Bertholdt looked out through the window. He looked at the landscape below. "This is an incredible flying machine," he murmured. He was awed by its speed and stability.
"It moves far faster than anything we've had before," Marcel added, pressing his forehead against the glass.
Annie, leaning against the frame. She looked up just in time to see Starscream and Jetfire streak past, their forms cutting through the sky. The air pressure shifted causing the helicopter to jolt slightly. "Those two are faster," Annie observed.
Tsunoda watched her for a moment, then quickly looked away. She is beautiful, he thought.
Yuuki smirked as she looked at Marcel. She thought he would be a good snack. She mused internally as she twitched her fingers slightly.
Reiner finally spoke. "So, what is the plan?" he asked. He looked at Misuzu. "Your Goddess must have given clear instructions," he added.
Misuzu barely turned toward him. "Our Goddess," she corrected. "She has decreed that we follow your original plan, to strike and destroy the outer walls, including Wall Rose and Maria," she added.
Marcel narrowed his eyes. "How do you know the names of our walls?" he asked.
"The Goddess knows all," Misuzu answered simply.
"If we have this much strength, why aren't we pushing for the ultimate objective?" Annie responded. She clearly was slightly irritated.
"The Goddess has spoken," Misuzu responded.
Annie gritted her teeth. "We should go all the way," she added.
"That is not the deal," Tsunoda reminded her.
Annie clenched her fist. She opened her mouth, ready to argue but Reiner cut in.
"Annie, calm down. We agreed to this plan," he said.
"But," Annie started.
Reiner looked at Misuzu's hand. He saw her pink ring. "We thought the Founding Titan would have enough power to take him down," he said. "But looking at her, there is more," he added. "The Goddess showed us more," he added, his fingers twitching slightly against the seat. "She showed you as well," he said.
Annie thought he was right. She looked at Misuzu and her ring. She had never seen something like that. There was something more for sure.
"We are approaching Wall Maria," Blackout's voice boomed through the comms.
Reiner exhaled. "It is time. We can discuss this later," he said. He tightened his grip on the seat beside him. "Believe me, I want to get rid of that bastard just as much as you do," he said. He thought back to what he did, to his friends, his neighbors, his country. The screams, he thought.
A brief silence settled.
"ETA: 30 seconds," Jetfire's voice echoed through the radio.
Reiner nodded. "Let's go," he said.
Misuzu's expression remained composed. "Starscream, do it," she ordered.
"We will. Don't order us around," Starscream snapped back over the comms.
"You're getting told," Jetfire laughed.
Starscream hissed. "Why don't you do it?" he fired back
Jetfire remained indifferent. "I am the eyes in the air, coordinating the attack," he responded. "The east side of the wall has fewer defenders right now, aim low," he added as he circled high in the air.
Starscream in his F-16 form, locked onto the massive structure ahead. He opened his missile bay, the weapons humming with energy before launching. He launched four missiles. They streaked through the air and slammed into the lower part of the ancient wall.
A violent explosion erupted, sending stone and debris cascading downward. Cracks splintered through the structure, pieces of fortified rock shaking under the force.
On the ground below, a soldier wearing a brown jacket instinctively turned toward the sky, his heart hammering against his ribs. He heard a sound which was unnatural. He squinted against the bright streaks in the sky, barely recognizing their shape before and then it hit the lower part of the wall. The shockwave knocked him off his feet, his ears ringing as he stared at the rapidly forming fractures in the wall.
Starscream then rotated his machines and unloaded on the soldiers. A barrage of bullets rained down and killed the soldiers nearby. Starscream broke off and went around.
"Good hit you still got it in you," Jetfire said.
"Shut it old man," Starscream responded.
Above, Blackhawk adjusted its position, hovering over the breach.
The door slid open, and Reiner prepared himself. He looked at Misuzu. "Originally, we planned one entrance, but with them here, we'll make two and then strike the second wall," he added. "These Demons must die like him," he said.
Without hesitation, he jumped out of the helicopter. He bit his tongue. His body shuddered as a yellow flash erupted. His muscles hardened and expanded unnaturally. His tendons stretched and his bones reinforced themselves under the sheer mass of transformation. Layer by layer, his flesh hardened. A glimmer of metallic sheen replaced the soft skin. There were thick slabs of bone-like armor forming over his shoulders, chest, and limbs. The Armored Titan was once again born.
"I will go with him," Misuzu said as she activated her Sapphire Ring. Her body glowed pink and her clothes changed to a purple bodysuit that covered her torso and upper legs. Her stomach and cleavage were exposed. She had thigh-high boots. On her crotch there was a star shaped emblem. Her arms were covered with long, matching purple gloves that extend past her elbows. She also has a headpiece. She leapt from the aircraft. Her Sapphire Ring glowed as she summoned a massive, glowing fist. "Pink Giant Fist," she said as she swung downward, just as the Armored Titan drove his weight into the already fractured wall.
The combined force collided with the structure. The wall buckled and then shattered. A gaping hole formed. The stone crumbled, leaving an entrance wide enough for an army.
Meanwhile on the ground. "The wall, it's breaking," a random civilian shouted. His eyes were wide. Fear struck him.
A soldier sprinted toward the nearest outpost, his leather boots slamming against the cobblestone. "We have an impact, Massive breach in the eastern sector," he shouted as he saw the smoke in the distance.
More soldiers turned toward the towering cloud of debris. A second soldier stumbled back. His hands were shaking as he loaded a cannonball. He could feel his heartbeat hammering against his ribs. "Something is there," someone shouted.
Across the perimeter, officers barked orders. "Man the cannons! Hold your ground," someone shouted.
Artillery crews rushed forward. They had sweat dripping down their faces as they heaved cannonballs.
They looked up and saw it. A big 15 metre titan sprinting towards them. They saw houses being utterly destroyed as he rushed forward.
"FIRE," a senior soldier said. The soldiers loaded their cannons and fired a volley of cannonballs. They screamed through the air.
However the projectiles bounced off. Some exploded however the titan just kept going.
The Armored Titan closed the distance, his massive fists swinging downward and crushed the entire cannon post. It sent weapons, stone, and bodies flying through the air.
Another soldier, trembling.
The Armoured Titan turned. He looked at the soldier and swung its massive arm and crushed him. The soldier was flattened like a pancake. There was nothing left of him besides a pool of blood.
The Titan kept moving forward. He tore through houses. There were buildings which were instantly destroyed.
Misuzu floated behind high above the wall and smiled. She looked down to see another one of those hideous beasts enter.
Marcel exhaled, watching from within Blackout's cockpit. "They did it," he said.
Yuuki's eyes glowed with excitement. "Now for the second breach," she murmured.
She looked at Misuzu who was floating in the air. She saw the power she wielded and for the first time, she wondered. Could she ask the Goddess for strength of her own.
