According to Dong Tianxiu, they release fish fry into this lake once a year, check the water quality every three months, and then leave it as it is. They don't feed or bait the fish, allowing them to grow wild and natural. Thus, the fish here are not particularly large but have incredibly fresh and delicious meat, and are quite cunning, making them not easy to catch.
But that's what makes it more interesting.
