"Wifey, can you call me by my name tonight?"
"Xinian."
Jiang Xiao looked at him, her face flushed, her heart warm.
"Good girl." Meng Xinian leaped off the bed, came over, touched her face, and said in a low voice, "You have time, about five minutes, I'll go take a shower too."
It wasn't until he walked into the bathroom that Jiang Xiao realized what he meant by five more minutes.
Her hand pressed lightly against her chest.
Did you hear that?
Her heart was pounding, pounding, pounding wildly.
She looked at the room full of candlelight, then at the wooden tray on the bed, saw the wine on the tray, and thought Tyrant Meng was more romantic than she had imagined.
Was this his surprise for her?
She couldn't help but walk over to the edge of the bed, sat down on the bed, and as she looked at the wine, she felt a bit parched.
Perhaps drinking a little wine could ease the tension?
Thinking this, Jiang Xiao opened the wine and poured herself a glass.
