Looks like the alcohol really is getting to her a little.
Meng Xinian let out a low laugh. "I've got shorts on."
"You're only wearing shorts..."
"Wife, are you hoping I'm not wearing anything? Want me to take them off?"
What she was saying already had that faint drunken slur to it. She wasn't totally drunk, but she was nicely tipsy, showing a hint of drunkenness.
"Aren't you ashamed at all?" Jiang Xiao's pale, slender finger poked at his chest.
"Not tonight. I'll pick my shame back up some other day."
As Meng Xinian spoke, he set the wine aside, then came back to the bed and reached out to lightly pinch Jiang Xiao's chin.
"I think my wife is the best-looking woman in the whole world."
Borrowing the courage of the alcohol, Jiang Xiao giggled. "I really envy you, getting to marry such a pretty wife."
Ha.
Meng Xinian nodded. "Mm, I'm also very envious of you, marrying such a handsome, capable husband."
"Pff, hahaha."
