Lu Fengxuan wasn't someone to linger hesitantly. Since she'd come all the way, it wouldn't be appropriate to leave quietly.
She reached out and accepted the champagne Xun Xizhi handed to her, lightly clinking glasses with him, and took a sip.
"Dr. Xun, go ahead and tend to your matters. I'll take a moment to rest here," Lu Fengxuan reminded him.
Xun Xizhi caught the polite smile on her face and understandingly said, "I happen to need to meet a few elder uncles. You'll be fine on your own, right?"

Lu Fengxuan nodded. Right now, all she wanted was some alone time for quiet.
She stood in place and watched Xun Xizhi leave. Then, she found a corner to quietly sit back and remain unnoticed.
